Id have to agree with your point at 1:50. Its pretty shitty to lock one of the Major characters from the video game its based on, behind such a paywall. Reminds me of EA locking Vader & Luke behind such paywalls or 50+ hours of grinding.. in a Star Wars game.
These figures really makes me to fall in love of it, but fact you did not get some due to kickstarter makes angry.

I played the Cyberpunk RPG back in the early 90's. This is pretty interesting to see.
So psyched! Mine arrives this coming weekend. I wish I would have backed more of the game vs only base and families. I was still playing the video game so didn't have a full connection to all the many elements of the game.

I knew. But then saw how it had soo many stretch goals and additional buy-ins just to get NAMED characters (like Panam as he mentioned) and noped out. Felt too predatory.
@@lyianxI was bummed out to see that Panam is not in the standard version. But I got a standard version + Panam’s package from a different retailer and total was $90. I’m not ready to pay $400 lol. The fact I don’t have the cards with V and their mini bothers me a lot tho 😅 I’m on a lookout, hopefully someone sells it on eBay eventually

I had back this game with a dollar and then totally forgot that I backed it and then I couldn’t up my pledge anymore so I’m kind of bummed man. I was randomly looking up Cyberpunk themed miniatures to go with the Tenfold Dungeon Cyberpunk City set and found this video. This is the first time I've heard of this board game and wow, it looks amazing! I hope the miniatures for all the Netrunners come to retail as well because they look fantastic and a lot of fun to paint. I might pick up a copy of this game and some of the expansions just to use the minis in other games!
Just looked it up and found out the Edgerunner minis are Kickstarter exclusive. That makes sense! I'll just have to hope to buy a copy of the Kickstarter edition secondhand because the value presented with those extra minis seems very worth it.
SOME of them are exclusive. Some come in retail.
@@Crabbok I looked it up and you're right! Most of the Edgerunners seem to be Kickstarter exclusive, but some are in retail. It's a bit sad that V of all characters is Kickstarter exclusive tbh
And Panam too! But yeah there's a mix either way.
16:37- Yeah……….. it looks, ok. I mean, it’s definitely not what I was thinking it was going to look like….. but to be fair, I’m not a 2077 fan! In any way!!! So it was obvious not made for me… The minis looked a bit bigger than what I would consider to small. And some of them do have a lot of detail. But on 3 out of the 5 or 6 you showed us it looked like they had more detail in the wrong places and not enough or almost none in the places they should have been! There were 2 minis I liked….. but that was about it! I would be able to get into it way more if I actually knew anything about it more than the video game had more bug then Oogie Boogie had under his sheet!?! I hope whoever this is for really likes it though!!! I wouldn’t hate on something other people are into!
Somewhat confused. Does this have anything to do with Cyberpunk Red Combat Zone or is it hjust a supplement to the Tabletop RPG or is jt a whole new game?

Nice video thanks :) I don't agree with you about Panam "sadly" being an exclusive character in this game though. Panam is an edgerunner but also an aldecaldo which would create paradoxical situations here. It wouldn't make sense in the lore for Maelstrom to hire her to kill aldecaldos. Same goes for Judy btw with the Mox.
This reminds me a bit about Ciri in the Witcher old world (also KS exclusive). Ciri wasn't born at this time...
The CBP 2077 board game should have been edgerunners vs corpos/gangs and all these issues would have evaporated.
I understand your thoughts about the theme. The game does have a bit of abstraction to it. Johnny Silverhand for example is long dead so can’t be hired at all, yet here he is.. etc. but it’s also for the miniature collector - who wants to have all their favorites under one roof!
@@Crabbok Good reasoning. They should have added a category of edgerunners which are specific to gangs. Panam would be an aldecaldo exclusive, Judy a mox exclusive, Meat/Royce Maelstrom exclusive etc. Alongside neutral edgerunners like Jacky or V whom can be hired by any gang.
Oh and #TeamPanam all the way obviously.
I really wanted to back this game but I had no money at the time :( . Now I must save like extra 100$ to buy it on ebay

Yeah……… been several unboxings already so not really here for that.
I’ve actually played the game 4 times so far.
Behind the curtain is a story, played it already. You use that net board for that story.
There’s no campaign just one shot stories you can replay. Changes up the game from just been a basic area control game.
Delamaine has nothing to do with motor pool. It’s a module for any playthrough.

Cyberpunk sucks, money grab, horrible story, glad you like it. Kickstarter exclusive, lol really criminal… it’s everyday stuff
