(SPOILER WARNING FOR WARRIORS: FOREST OF SECRETS)
This video is meant to take place the first night Graystripe spends in Riverclan after he loses his beloved mate, Silverstream, and as he looks to Starclan for answers. This scene doesn't take place in the book.
Song: "Less than a Pearl" by Enya.
Based on the book series by Erin Hunter (aka Kate Cary and Cherith Baldry).
All I did were the drawings.
My sister was listening to a lot of Enya when I read the Warriors series, so now the two are associated my my head. Look up "The River Sings" and imagine the warriors traveling by night to a Gathering, for instance. :)
Please tell me I'm not the only one that cried when Silverstrream hugged Graystripe and he had tears in his eyes

I discovered this a long time ago when I was early in my Warriors phase. I thought this was one of the most beautiful, moving, amazing pieces of art I'd ever seen. And it was one of the many, many influences that made me want to start drawing and got me to where I am today. I'm glad this is still up.

Aw man. I remember when Warriors was a huge fandom. I was such a huge fan. Still have all the books. If it hadn't been for Erin Hunter, I might've never been the reader I am today.

i watched this sometime around 2009-2010 when i was a new warriors fan, and honestly, the emotion that the video instilled in me back then still hits me today (perhaps harder with the added nostalgia). this is one of the most memorable and beautifully animated videos I've ever had the pleasure of watching.

Okay can someone please explain to me why so many people hate Graystripe? I know he fell for Silverstream but nobody can help who they love. He took care of his kits, so that's a great thing about him. It's so stupid to just despise a character just because they are in love with someone who doesn't live in the same place, clan, or place. Also,Graystripe worked very hard to escape from two legs in one of the manga books of him. I'm really not looking for arguments, therefore I do not want them. I just really hate when some people despise a character for such a stupid reason and I admire Graystripe very much so.
I guess you haven't gotten far into the books yet.
SPOILERS:
Reasons:
1. After Silverstream died Greystripe moved to RiverClan with his kits.
2. After awhile in RiverClan he decided to come back to ThunderClan (make up your mind already son!)
3. He took Millie as his mate and Millie is literally so useless jesus christ.
There are your answers!
He only moved to Riverclan so that he can take care of his kits. He was in a rough position. Millie tries her hardest to not be useless.
He fell for her because she was so nice to him. If you haven't read the manga of him and her, then you should because otherwise you won't understand why he fell for her. Characters make mistakes, it's part of how they learn about themselves.

I'm amazed by how Erin Hunter made up these stories that just make you melt. 😓 Greystripes love for Silverstream makes me cry in the same way as I would cry for Bluestars story or any other cat story. That to me is what make Warriors interesting.

I come back to this at least once a year, I used to watch this over and over when I first got into warriors and cried like a baby over these 2 and this video specifically. I'm in love with the sketches and how expressive they are. The style reminds me of the actual mangas. The song is really beautiful as well. I just love how much emotion you put into this and I still come back to this video for inspiration. It's definitely a classic in my mind and should of got more views!

I couldn't stop crying and I couldn't stop watching this. This is one of the best art works I have seen so far. The animation was amazing and inspireing but most of all it was gorguse and the emotion was great.

However, the way you put this together, you really need no back story to understand...

I'm glad that this is still up. I have been inspired to do my own animations from just this video but what I'm really pleased about this video is that its style, though still animated looking, isn't cartoony by giving the cats bangs and eyeshadow or whatever. It just pure beauty. :)

God, when he woke up from the dream, and Silverstream wasn't there, his emotion almost made me burst out crying. ;n; Really , really good, i love how you didn't really make it smooth, yet it still left me really wanting to be able to animate that well. I don't think i could of pressed the like button harder. XD

Omg, I'm crying at the ending, when she goes from the stars, and visits Graystripe. I imagined it as if my crush died, and I felt very alone. Then, coming from the stars, was like him dancing with me one last time before telling me that it'd be alright, and then leaving back into heaven. Great video, you are extremely gifted!
