Reggie bush in today's league would be unstoppable.
Reggie would be a better cmc
Im a 49er fan but this is the game that really got me into football. This was the first nfl season i seriously watched. Reggie bush was simply amazing
I went to this game. What a roller coaster of emotions.
Bush had one of the best running strides in football history.
Cedric Griffin lit that boy up.
I remember this game we had no field goal kicker. Dude had a bad hamstring I remember screaming at the TV. Great times black and gold for life. I salute Marcus Colston the most underrated wide reciever in history. Probably why these receivers act so flashy if not quarterback gets all the shine. Hell what do I know I know Marcus Colston didn't get invited to one pro bowl. Look him up he deserved one.
Falcons fan here. Colston was a top 10 wr easily. Perhaps even top 5 back in his day. He didn’t get no love in the media what a damn shame. Use to kill my dirty birds.
Colston was a beast
Antoine Winfield was a beast in this game
Every game*
MrFindX Winfield was a best for us
Such a misleading title and thumbnail.
How was it misleading? Bush had 269 all purpose yards. 2 punt returns for TDs late in the game. Yeah, they didn't win, but he was dominant.
@@hineighbor Taking over usually means winning. I was fooled by it.
Richard O'Driscoll you weren’t fooled you can take over a game and lose 😂
😀😂😂 you're not lying
@@sekaikage Yes tf you can.. If you lose then you just lose
Reggie Bush always had them crazy legs. He got to his top gear so fast that it made subtle moves difficult for him sometimes. My favorite college player ever and had a memorable nfl career. Nostalgia.
Bro wtf? I've never seen this game bush returned 2 punts could have been 3 damn.
Fumbled twice 2
David Hernandez 🤡
Joseph Lanza only Reggie Bush can fumble twice and crappy rushing yards and he had a good game, straight clowns on this thread!!
@@DuckShampoo your telling me 2 punt return touchdowns dont make up for 1 lost possession, im sorry but you sound like a clowb
trufiend138 dude the lost the game because of the fumbles..can’t believe your defending him
Return game was strong af
Some old skool hits in this game.
How in the hell did the Vikings win this game?
Did you not see all the mistakes the Saints made lol? Bush fumbled twice, Brees threw some picks and missed a snap, WR's dropping passes, FG blocked for a TD, late go ahead FG shanked. Don't you mean how did the Vikings only win this game by 3? I'm just trying to imagine Winfield playing in this Zimmer defense.
jbsmg it all started with that blocked field goal we would have blown them boys outta there if that didn't happen not to mention the saints are always gonna saint 🤦🏾♂️
They won by a interception
Vikings were 10-6 lol
Turnovers man....i remember watching this game too
football back then feels like it was won in the trenches now it feels very different in a way like the game’s gotten way softer then what it was. that’s just sad
crazy game. maybe our payback was the NFC championship game the next year
This was just another great vikings game but i remember it was such a good time watching it. Who would have thought a game like this would have been near wiped from my memory bank. So many crazy vikings games full of such high and lows. It has been one hell of a ride. Skol Vikings
Man I’ll never forget this game
This was the Reggie Bush everybody expected coming out of college. Guy had some nagging injuries and was misused in NO. There was this narrative that he couldn't be an every down back and couldn't run up the middle, but he went over to Miami later in his career and did just fine. Didn't have the greatest career, but it's hard to find a guy who was more dangerous with the ball in his hands.
Idk what was more impressive. The block on #50. Or the guy just getting right back up like nothing happened
A year later...Superbowl Champs!!!
nfl engineered
I was beating my brother by 30+ points in fantasy that year needless to say he had Reggie Bush that game and destroyed me 😂
Those 2 blocks at 5:10 were absolutely beautiful
i wonder if those blocks on the first punt return TD would be targeting in today's league
Some doesn't know what targeting is. Those would be called crack back blocks today
I don't know about the NFL rules, but I know in Collage those would likely be called for Illigal Blindside blocks, I would suspect the same for the NFL, but I don't know the NFL rules as well.
Yes. Illegal crack backs.
The big block on the first one would definitely be called a blindside block.
Bush went in beast mode and actually returned 2 and could have gotten 4 if he didn’t slip himself.
2007 and 2008 had very energetic MNF games
I didnt realize how small Reggie Bush was till I saw him in an NFL uniform - he looked normal size in college
This game is a pretty good representation of Reggies Bush's career. Capable of amazing things...but also some not-so-amazing things =/
Sheesh memory lane.. I watched this game with my pops(dolphins fan) but man seeing bush with that back to back punt return I was hyped.. Reggie will forever be a SAINT.. #WHODAT
Wow.. Didn't even think about the fact that Drew Brees played against both Antoine Winfield Sr. and Antoine Winfield Jr.
One of so many instances of the Saints playing their way into games, but the compounded mistakes and lacks of execution absolutely destroyed them.
We got payback the following season in the NFC title game
Prophetic One ⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️
LOL, So I guess you're a Bellechick fan right? Peyton didn't know and never admitted to having any involvement in Bountygate......you must be a jealous, whiny, loser Vikings fan.......
Dave then why he get suspend for an year he was the coach its his job to make sure coaches under him do there job.
Oh please. The Vikings and their fans are some hypocritical clowns. Did y’all realize that not only did your own QB said it was just football, he later admitted that y’all had your own Bounty program? Get out of here with that cheating crap.
You must be a pussy, calling hard hits cheating. They played smash mouth football and had the #1 offense in the league. Blowing people out was not cheating. We were better than you, get over it. The super bowl belonged to us that year, NOT you. Get over it pussy.
I remember watching this thinking Reggie didn't get the ball enough. They would've won had they had him in the gameplan more. As a vikings fan, I was definitely glad he didn't touch it more
i still jump outta my skin when reggie returns that punt #whodat
2 guys got crackd =\
///REGGIE BUSH WAS OPEN MOST OF THE TIME BREES TRIED THOSE LONG PASSES 😩
One of the best Monday Night games I ever witnessed FUCK!!!nN Gramatica🤦🏽♂️
Who would’ve guessed a year later these two teams would be the best in the NFC
Damn I miss these Saints days 🤦🏾♂️
The big hits in this game were great
How did Reggie bush take over when the Saints still lost. You can’t take over anything if you lose
Those 2 blockers at then end of Reggies first punt return just absolutely nihilated those Vikings
Winfield the one of the best undersized db tacklers in NFL history . should say Winfield took over the game .
Tight end got HAMMERED holy shit 😂😂 @ 8:24
Too bad they can't hit like that anymore
The following season the two teams would meet again in a much bigger game.
If your a New Orleans fan watching this your not surprised they somehow lost
He had a chance to have 3 or 4 return TD's in this game.
I miss this Team
Do you have the Vikings vs giants 2008 when we won the division?
Javi if i remember correctly the Giants sat all their big players and the vikes barely won that game. Was that the game?
They kicked to him. I couldn't believe it. My cousin said he is gonna return it again.
Wild game
Gus Ferotte did all what he could for the Vikings, Big ups
I broke my door and got punched by mom this game...stress levels
#50 on the Vikings got lit up on the punt return by Bush. Wow.
a great game that we lost but antwon weinfield is one of the best db's ive ever seen
Drafted by Buffalo in 2000, signed with Minnesota in '04. You don't see CBs like him anymore nowadays. His kid Antoine Winfield Jr. will be entering the NFL Draft this year, definitely looks like a chip off the old block.
8:20 were the cts days 😂
8:01 as the Vikings bring the blitz
The Saints TE got lit up. Damn
I remember watching this game and just thinking, why is there so many turnovers by the saints.
Those two blocks on his first return would be penalties in today’s NFL 😂🤦🏽♂️
Nah they only penalize defense for hitting. It’s sad .
Bruh Yessss!!! Sheesh!
I will always feel Drew Brees and the Saints/Aaron Rodgers and the Packers should have more Superbowl rings.
Bush that Stud 👍👍👍
I miss the hits that were in this game , illegal hit after illegal hit now days . You can crack back block anymore or project yourself off your feet
Watch the whole vid
Who was the vikings qb he played good
Martin Gramática a bitch for missing those two Fg’s lol
I forgot we had Martin Gramatica
Mr. Gonzales and he was traaaash
5:05 6:00
You sure you don't wanna call this the Antoine Winfield game?
what the heck? Misleading Title ☹
So sorry for y'all. 😕Y'all stole my Superbowl in 09. I Ain't forgot. I'll never forget. Lol 😂
Rodney Brooks still crying about bounty gate that you hypocrites also had, and let’s not blame yourselves for creating all those turnovers right? Or not just running the ball when you were in fg range but instead throwing it. You clowns will never come to the reality that you lost because of yourselves and not fraudulent Bountygate
I know this is about Bush but man do i miss Pierre Thomas
I thought they were at least gonna come back and win
The 2 blocks on Reggie's first touchdown were good blocks but both would have been called hitting a defenseless player in todays NFL. Even though both players had the ability to make a stop if the blocks did not occur.
winfield was a great player
1st half I’d say Antoine Winfield took over.
Looks like a Antonio Winfield take over
Reggie bush definitely one of the greatest receiving backs ever
Cedric Griffin smoked that te too bad he blew out both knees cuz he would have been a pro bowl corner . speed-size-ball skill-hard hitter .
Hey Funkydunkleman here's a game that I havent seen in a very long time...Aints @ Vikings 2000 Divisional Playoff. Do you have that one by chance?
Got it for you Breaux...

Entertaining game. But bush was in the highlights maybe twice.
If he would have returned the punt he stumbled on I don’t think he sees the 3rd
I don't think Mike Tirico likes the Vikings. I remember the way he announced this game alone. What was with the game winning FG with :14 left and he can only muster "Vikings LEAD by 3."
Haha, I remember watching that game very clearly. Tirico and Kornheiser couldn't stop bashing the Vikes all game. So glad they got kicked out of the MNF booth.

Somehow we lost this game. Smh
Takes over?
The scoreboard itself was goddamn huge, but then this: 3:48 ??? ESPN has always sucked their old producer from when MNF was good on ABC, is now working at NBC since 2006. ESPN has sucked ever since
The Vikings has always lived on luck
True but why can't they ever have it in primetime games smh
Reggie bush fumbled twice and then slipped on a sure 6 Reggie bush won and lost this game hahahahahaha
First fumble should've never happened because of the missed facemask and the second was recovered by the Saints. Not making excuses for him, but you make it sound way worse than it was.
growing pains
He took over in a loss ????
It is Minnesota Vikings year this year 2019
Wtf is with the title
This was click bait reggie bush had a good game but damn i didn't want to relive this SMFH 😠 😠 😠
2009 got the chip Who Dat Nation
What the fuck where Reggie Bush....
lucky Barr and kendricks weren't around. I think Maurice Drew Jones was better. Alright a little Bruin bias I quess
Still pissed that they called a fumble but not the face masked that caused it....smh
Poor title. When someone takes over something they win. Not the case here.
What a sloppy game by both teams.
Saints was the better team that night they just had all kinds of mistakes
