Classic Tailback - Reggie Bush USC Highlights
Vložit
- čas přidán 23. 08. 2016
- A compilation of some of Reggie Bush's highlights at the University of Southern California. The "Lightning" to LenDale White's "Thunder", Reggie Bush was one of the most breathtaking open-field runners in the history of collegiate football. On any given play, Bush could make half of the defense miss before getting to the edge and blowing past them for six points. His versatility was also unmatched, as Bush could run, catch, and return kicks with aplomb. For three years, Bush was the brightest star on a Trojan team full of them in the early-to-mid 2000's.
The games I used to take the clips from can be other channels I used as well that you can find if you look around): / sbbarnet. .

It's 2019, and I'm still watching Reggie Bush highlights.
2020 and I’m still watching lol
Watch his HS highlights, absolutely incredible still.
SAME 🔥 wish they would have used him right in the NFL
Agreed
2021 bro. Still amazing! 💯
Arguably one of the most scariest college players I remember seeing on screen. Out the back field, Lined out wide, Punt returns, Kick returns just get the ball in his hands and watch.
Reggie was so fun to watch. Inarguably one of the most exciting, dynamic players in my lifetime.
Go Big Red.
Easily. Guy was just electric.
Guy was the definition of clutch. Look at the scores of some of these games. Reggie Bush made clutch plays in all of these games to get USC the win.
Reggie was the most electrifying athlete in college in the early 2000s. Give the man HIS HEISMAN back!!!!
reggie bush had the prettiest run style.. super exciting player
It's crazy cause it doesn't even look like he's trying hard, but he's just that much faster than everyone else on the field.
Yes he does. Very smooth and effortless in his strides!!
I still can't believe he gave his trophy back. There is no way in hell I would have given it back. He made that school millions and millions....Now, he didn't do himself any favors by deciding to initially not pay back the person who loaned him the money. That just put his business out for everyone to see.
Give this man his heisman back..
no. give the saints their money back for drafting him.
@@hhh1200 Bush was decently productive with the Saints and helped get them to a Super Bowl. It's a shame he wasn't born in a later generation. With how good of a WR he was out of the backfield he would've even better suited for the current era of pro football where they're throwing the ball way more and taking up more spread concepts. In hindsight though you look at the top 5 picks in that 2006 draft class. Mario Williams, Reggie Bush, Vince Young, D'Brickashaw Ferguson, and AJ Hawk. None of them ever became superstars. It happens. It's insanely hard to project how players are going to transition even for NFL executives that are paid millions to get it right.
@@hhh1200 without him we don't win that SB. As a Saints fan I'm more than happy we drafted him.
@@hhh1200 Reggie did good as a saint, he had a solid career, and he was an integral part of our super bowl
@@hhh1200 like the saints drafting Ricky Williams??? Sounds like a saint's problem to me.
Greatest announcer of ALL TIME... The "GREAT" Keith Jackson RIP Sir
There will never be another college running back like Reggie bush
Chauncy Phillips don’t wanna give the 6th like
Barry Sanders was better
I gave the 25th though
@@MrSPIDEY21he was .. his highlights are better too
Barry Sanders.
It’s 2022, and I’m still watching Reggie Bush highlights.
Give him his trophy back... IMMEDIATELY!
On 4/24/24 the Heisman Trust gave Reggie Bush back his Heisman.
He finally got it back! ✌🏼Fight On!
2020 who else came back to watch the greatest college player of all time?
Keith Jackson retired after the 05 season.
Calling Reggie Bush games for both their last season in college football , I'm sure was icing on the cake
He’s the most exciting college football player I’ve ever seen! They need to give him his Heisman Trophy back
Unbelievably talent and college player. He was a celebrity in college. RIP Keith Jackson.
That USC team was really stacked across the board not taking anything away from Bush..
Reggie was a beast in college.
Best college rb ever... couldn't b stopped on NCAA
lol bo jackson, hershel walker, marcus dupree, etc, etc etc. lyndell white had better stats at usc than reggie. it's called hype
@@hhh1200 go eat a bowl of smegma
@@hhh1200 yeah... like you competed at that level. SIT YO ASS DOWN!!
@ImSemperFiUntiliDie Darren Sproles from K-State
Couldn’t be stopped in the pac-10*
This guy back in the day!! He was awesome!!! I use to study him to get ideas when I play football for recess 😂
I grew up in that era.... What a site to witness.
Lol. But you're an old woman no? Wtf?
He is the only college player that I can remember giving me the goosebumps everytime I'd watch him.
He was must see television.
Thank you Reggie
5:05 shook that jabroni out his cleats! Bush was a animal @ USC
Rocket Ishmael & Reggie Bush are the two greatest offensive players I’ve ever seen in college football
You forgot about Auburn Bo Jackson 85'
Nebraska Johnny Rogers 71'
The highlights, the cut back blocks, and Keith Jackson! Love this
The City of San Diego CA is the ONLY City with 4 Heisman Trophy Winner's.!!
Except they only have 3 because Bush doesn't have one
@@Detroit313Loyalty The statement is "Heisman Trophy Winner's" not vacated dumbass!!!!
And USC still recruits RB's from out of state. Smh.
@@jetsal4297 Thank U for educating the Dumptrucks
It’s 2021 and bush still had the best highlight ever.
Idk tavon Austin is close lol 😂
Really could've went to the league as a WR
no he was just a really great halfback with tremendous hands.
Danny Building very true
He had 88 catches.... as a rookie
Probably could have been a slot terror
It’s 2022 and I’m still watching Reggie Bush highlights
These videos are a treasure trove of great memories.
Reggie finished off a lot of these TDs like people do playing the videogames lol, with a dive into the endzone
I was in elementary when Reggie bush was in college ! I miss those days running around thinking I was a Trojan
STILL boggles my mind how Bush just pulled away from guys once he got his feet pointed towards the endzone.
Himself, CJ Spiller, and Jahvid Best are by far the most dynamic cfb runners of my era. (I'm a little young for Barry)
You should put together sumthin for Best, and Spiller too.
I always thought that O.J. Simpson was the greatest runner to ever play for SC, until I watched Reggie Bush play!, lol, what a phenomenal talent as a college running back! ;)
BEST COLLEGIATE BACK EVER
I don’t know how many time I watched this video but I never feel boring. I love to watch Reggie bush play
One of the best collegiate players to ever do it. A big fan as I watched him back in his HS days & I'm just sad that he didn't get drafted by HOU like he was "suppose" to. Maybe there he would have done like he did in MIA. I think the Saints used him wrong as mostly a 3rd down back & with a pass heavy scheme, he didn't get the touches he needed.
pudge27t He wasn't durable enough with the touches he did receive. More touches means even more injuries.
The Saints used him perfectly.
I seem to recall a punt return or two that could be considered a "highlight".
Always the best videos for real
Who's here after watching Reggie Bush on the "I Am Athlete Podcast", and had to come back to reminisce 🏈💪👀💯💰
It is 2024 and I am still amazed by Bush and that incredible season. One of the best ever!
The way he set that block up (14:37) was Cold-blooded. Reggie was a beast in the pros too. This bring back hella memories tho. I was in high school doing my thing, Saturday morning we had to wake up an watch film from last nights game. I used to tell my coach "I'm watching Reggie bush sry wont make it"
2021 and I'm here rewatching the person I idolized all through middle school and highschool and the reason I became a saints fan
Amazing
One of my favorite college football players ever loved watching him play for USC back then
Ncaa football 2004-05 he was a beast!!
It's 2022 almost 2023 and im still watching his highlights! I remember watching him eating 🍽 cereal 🥣 just watching his games in college on saturdays
The reason why Reggie Bush was so good is that he was training with LaDainian Tomlinson while at USC in the off-season. You can see the similarities in their play styles, Reggie Bush was really on another level though.
Reggie Bush got more votes than Darren McFadden, so I listened to my audience and released this masterpiece. For the people who wanted a DMac one, don't worry. His video will be released soon. However, the very next up is a video will feature the greatest running back of the new millennium........
Peterson!!
No Ladanian Tomlinson
Not enough footage. And his college career also took place during the late 90's.
Nice work, Reggie was so much fun to watch.
PockyCandy Todd Gurley and Percy Harvin
Who’s here watching after the NCAA announced they’re giving Reggie his Heisman back?! 🔥🔥
Hell yeah!
I’ll always remember him for the fumble in the Rose Bowl.
Some of those dives into the endzone were amazing. Hard to believe he only had 25 touchdowns, even if Lyndale was the goaline back.
Caleb Cone it wasn’t a fumble, he tried to pitch it to his teammate.. lol 😂
Um yeah
Reggie Bush scored 42 touchdowns in college, not 25. And it is Lendale, not Lyndale.
Who else is here after he rightfully got his Heisman trophy back?
That Fresno State game back juke...man I swear after watching that game my sophomore year of high school, everyone was trying to perfect that move at football practice. Needless to say lol our headcoach was pissed 🤣
He looked like Faulk in college. If only he would break more tackles and was more patient in the pros!
.........and if only Bush wasn't made of glass. That may have been his biggest flaw. Chris Johnson couldn't break tackles and he wasn't that patient, but he stayed healthy (and was featured), which is what set him and Bush apart.
btw, CJ1K needs a video too. So many that need a video!
yep. Reggie Bush was a SICK man.
PockyCandy he also played for the saints, who are STILL awful at running the football.
It’s 2021 and I’m still watching Reggie Bush highlights
Hands down the most electrifying college player in the 2000s... His skillset was ahead of his time - he can run, catch, catch punts and kickoffs. Had he been playing right now, he would be dominating college again and would be a perennial pro-bowler. He was like a twitchier, more explosive Christian Mccaffrey....
Love the channel bro. Todd Gurley and Percy Harvin!!!
I'll probably make a Todd Gurley video at some point in the future.
Arguably the most electric college player ever outside of Rocket Ismail. Imo
2023, still watching
I do not like usc and I never have but man it is always a pleasure watching Reggie bush highlights 😀
Brings back hella memories.
Nothing. compared to the sound of Kieth Jackson’s voice on any Saturday afternoon in Autumn 🇺🇸
I can't believe no one notices the similarity in running styles between he and Barry Sanders!!!! They had different builds but both were quick, fast, and elusive!!!!
2024 and I’m still watching it
Reggie was the last great exciting player I remember in college football. Everytime he touched it there was a high chance something special was going to happen.
The man was must see television.
Vince Young had a similar aura of excitement to him, but we haven't truly seen anything like Bush in CFB, and especially not on a national title caliber team.
Straight 🐐
2024 here showing these young bucks that Reggie bush was before his time
Reggie Bush got tougher more downhill after the Saints; with the Lions and Dolphins he had 1000 yard seasons. I've been watching those teams the last 4 weeks on GamePass. He got a little slower with age so; like most of the RBs in NFL history who play long enough to lose a step; they gain weight and became North South power backs.
2022 and we’re still here
Best college player I’ve ever seen
BE5T....!!!!!! Reggie was ELECTRIC!!!!!!
Longest video yet that I've seen. No doubt Bush had plenty great moments
Man that's a TB smoking an NFL caliber CB on a seam route and he caught it over the shoulder like a dang top notch wideout! This guy was sick!
God damn 🔥
He was excellent in college the times when he did get the ball space. He was unstoppable. At least he can say he has a Super Bowl ring to show for it.
My first time watching a whole college football game was usc vs texas long horns.
This man & NCAA the reason I started playing football 😂😂
GLAD MY GOAT GOT HIS HARDWARE BACK! FIGHT ON FOREVER!!! ✌️
Imagine if he didn’t have to split carries that final season with Lendale White. I honestly think he could have been close to Barry Sanders in 88.
The best EVER.
Can you do receivers as well? Like DeSean Jackson at Cal?
I'm not sure. Those videos seem to be extremely difficult to make.
Best college RB ever
Now this guy was the (Best) still is
Greatest college fb player..Second Ricky Williams💯No Cap
MR. ELECTRIC
Leinart threw such a beautiful ball. Obviously didn’t have the arm strength to be NFL elite, but mannnn did he put it where it needed to be.
Give this man his Heisman back
Reggie Bush and Peter Warrick....two monster college players with average/below average NFL careers.
Sec's nightmare. The best of USC
another great video. Here's a list of people i think would be cool to watch shaun alexander, clinton portis, Maurice jones drew, jerome bettis, archie griffin, ron dayne, emmit smith, oj simpson, jim brown (if you havent yet), and marcus allen (if you havent yet)
I have a playlist on my channel of all the guys I've made videos of so far. Bettis and Marcus Allen are on that list, Griffin and Emmitt Smith will have videos released in the following months. The rest are guys I'll think about.
PockyCandy ok sounds good
+PockyCandy what about Curtis Martin, there are not much highlight videos of him
***** There's not nearly enough footage, sadly.
Ah that sucks, he was a great player
He was so good in college playing against Fresno State. I wonder why he was never ready for the NFL after the elite defenses he played against in college.
Please do one on Warrick Dunn
vid quality poor....highlights, what i could see of them, AWESOME!
He should’ve gotten a chance to be a feature back and learn through his mistakes.. He was a franchise back but was stunted by his coaches in college and NFL!
The greatest RB in college football history.
I can’t wait for the DMac video. However, if you made one for Lyndale White, you need to make a video for McFadden’s counterpart, Felix Jones.
DMac, Jones, and Hillis was one of the best backfields of all time with three NFL starters.
In more recent years we’ve had Alabama’s Ingram, Richardson, and Lacy.
And while I can’t wait to see what Perine and Mixon, and Fournette and Guice accomplish, I think the 2014 backfield of Todd Gurley, Keith Marshall, Nick Chubb, and Sony Michel is going to do some pretty great things.
Eh, I just threw all three of them in the same video. It's going to be pretty amazing.
Those Alabama guys are a little too recent for me. Then again, I am planning on making a Marcus Lattimore (2010-12) video, so who knows........
wtf Gurley, Chubb, Marshall, and Michel were all on the same team at one point?! That's an absurd backfield.
Yeah, as a UGA fan and a running back fan it was insane, but with disappointing results. While Chubb ended the season with over 1500 yards as a freshman, having only started 8 games, the rest didn’t fare too well. Gurley had a four game suspension, then tore his ACL on his return, Michel hurt his shoulder against Tennesee (the team that injures all UGA running backs), and Marshall only played in the first three games after failing to recover from his knee injury at Tennesee the previous year.
That said UGA ran for 258.84 yards a game in 2014, which was by far the highest of the Richt era. (Second is the 182.57 yards in 2012). Over 75 yards a game more isn’t too shabby.
Caleb Cone I remember Gurley dominating, getting suspended, and Chubb turning into a deity. And then being hyped to see both of them playing at the same time. Then, like you said, Gurley got hurt. I don't remember Michel playing at all that season. And I have no recollection of Keith Marshall playing outside of his freshman season. It's like he fell off the face of the earth after that.
Keith ended up having a few nice runs this past year, but was still only a fragment of his 2012 self. Plus, we were so stagnant on offense, he did’t get much attention. He then recorded the fastest 40-time of anyone at the combine, got drafted in the 7th round by the Redskins and is now going to be one of the main contributors for them: www.redskins.com/news/article-1/Robert-Kelley-Keith-Marshall-Will-Get-Lion%E2%80%99s-Share-Of-Carries/8666692f-4793-42b7-8cf6-0689c2f312fb
Best physique and best running back in college football, sadly he didn’t make it well in the NFL, he is the best talent
lol bo jackson, hershel walker, marcus dupree, etc, etc etc. lyndell white had better stats at usc than reggie. it's called hype
Best physique?😂
This dude was a CHEATCODE on NCAA Football 2005!
Bruh he was like a created player out there!
What’s that song in the beginning?
I used to love Bush..now looking at these lights nothing is in between the tackles...
