I was fortunate to be able to review these songs from their new album about 2 months ago for radioTrax and country music radio, And excited doesn't even cover the over whelming feelings I received after hearing them.
Just when I thought the boys couldn't surprised me they come out with masterpiece of country music. Hats off to Midland on their finest work to date. Sky's the limit boy's may this finally receive some long over due recognition (ACM'S CMA'S may be even a Grammy nod)

Somehow this music evokes the feeling of nostalgia. Simpler times of playing outside, before social media and smart phones where you had to memorize your friends phone numbers and your parents set up play dates. I wish I could go back to my childhood in the 90s before everything got so complicated.

Midland is like the small bar in the outside of tow or that little breakfast restaurant that almost no one knows about it but their so good and mellow that just the fact that I know about it and the media didn't brain wash me to try it makes me feel so fortunate and blessed that I have. I probably discovered Midland about three months ago and this song blew me away. Prior to this I wasn’t really listening to country music (other than a few of my friends playing county in their cars) ever since this group I’ve been listening to bits of country here and there.
