I love the unmatchable & exquisite taste of the designer. The house is tastefully designed.
Here in the USA, during the COVID pandemic which forced us to spend two plus years working from home, one very big lesson we learned is that open space home design is not for everyone or for every home. Many homeowners who tore down walls when they jumped on the open space bandwagon now regret it. This fad is now quickly on its way out as many realize that while it may look good on paper or pictures, in practice it's another matter.
Really loved the outcome of the transformation. Functional and aesthetically impressive. Brilliant!

I would like to see how to upgrade homes within a small budget, not necessarily pulling down walls but working with the house you have. I think what you have done is great & your aesthetic is to be desired but once someone has a home on a mortgage & a family there is not a lot left in the kitty. Here in the U.K. you have brick walls enclosing fairly small houses to contend with too. If you would like to practice on a home let me know. Love the bears!

- all in, this project came up to approximately RM800,000

My mom doesnt like a house that is too big because she doesnt like to hire a helper. So this house is great.
great ideas - especially moving the front door and creating the foyer. Changing the balcony to a useful space is another brilliant touch. the only unresolved part for me personally is the external wall, architecturally it looks out of sync with the balance of the building. I guess this is more architecture than ID. However I love the thoughtfulness of the design and details. great job

Better to hollow out the old interiors including bathrooms and parti walls to enhance the space. Old terraces don’t have good layouts for reason developers would want to squeeze in as many rooms as possible. If you enlarged the attached bathroom it will end up not fiitting in a king size bed. Even with a queen size one, the passage way left is not friendly for owners to walk to the front balcony. A minimalist design incl slim and sleek furnitures and fittings will suit turning old terrace hse with a width 20 to 22ft into a comfortable spacious home.

Love the design. But this is one of the cases where it goes a bit overboard where the house looks too complicated with too many elements. However this is probably what the owner wanted.
