    I bought the original OG gun/wand and then bought the new OG solution. The better Mosmatic fittings are worth it. But taking the old solution and getting a 25ft hose and setting it up with my gas Kartcher for the house is another game changer. Just having the better user experience for all the house stuff is amazing.

    I had preordered the Active 2.0 the same day you released the first testing video and was excited at first. At some point I got tired of waiting and found I had a dedicated 20 amp outlet and so I bought the AR630 TSS portable solution instead and I'm glad I did. The performance is top notch and pretty quiet compared to the Active or other entry level pressure washers. Using a 1.5mm orifice in the MTM PF22.2 and 5.0 orifice rinse nozzles per your recommendation, I don't see it going over 14.8 amps so it might be possible to use a dedicated 15 amp circuit. Great job to Matt and OG team for revolutionizing pressure washing.

      @godowarus Před rokem

      @@jameschunn2790 They never did. But he did do a video on testing the ar630tss hot. He used a 1.25mm orifice in the foam cannon which drew about 18 amps. My own testing with a 1.5mm orifice got me to 14.4 ish amps. That makes sense as a 1.25mm is between a 3.0 and 3.5 rinse nozzle, while a 1.5mm is just a tiny bit bigger than a 5.0 rinse nozzle.

      @@jameschunn2790 Ah, I see. Just that they go through all work of testing pressure washers, putting together accessory packages and publishing his findings so the public can make a more educated purchasing decision. Ive got a Kranzle and an Active 2.0 purely for my cars but I have issues with all these companies. Hear me out for a brief bit here. I also have a 5,000PSI rated gas PW that will strip your skin off if you arent careful. I paid $1000 for it. I have put well over 200 hours on its 7.5HP engine. If it had a gauge I'm pretty sure it would say something like 400+ hours but 200 is safe. I have ZERO issues with it. Basic maintenance a couple times a year.
    I think these electric PW companies are worlds behind where they should be. Even the Kranzle should be better. The $350 Active literally matches it's performance. It's going 80mph in a Kia compared to 80mph in my Tesla but it's still going 80mph. The value on all of these, except maybe the Active, is very questionable to ne

    I appreciated tommy's question about the coupler direction on the outlet of the PW. One other thing to add is that the Coupler is the wear item and the M22 is more expensive than the 3/8 female, so with your configuration you end up with the wear item being less expensive to replace (3/8 F NPT to 3/8 Coupler instead of M22F to 3/8 coupler).

    The Karcher K1700 is available at Home Depot, Walmart and is on Amazon for 136.00 free shipping.
    the gpm on this machine is pure junk.
    the Active V52, or ANY Active for that matter, would be a mistake, sporadic issues, poor customer service, with 5 plungers, whatever.
    do yourself a favor, just spend the money on an AR630ts, or a Kranzle 1322ts. If you really don't want to wait till you save the money, just get a K1700 temporarily, to get you by, till you can get an AR630, or a Kranzle. Just my 2 cents

    • @Reaper-Jim
      @Reaper-Jim Před rokem +1

      As long as we’re laying out opinions, here’s mine: Buy/use what ever works best for your situation/status. Yes, that means it’s okay to buy and use a $60 pressure washer if that’s all you can afford. It gets the job done regardless. That also means it’s okay buying and using a $5k pressure washer if that’s what you can afford. It gets the job done, regardless.
      Generally speaking, it really doesn’t matter what pressure washer you buy and use. They ALL get the job done fairly well. There is no “junk” as far as that’s concerned. Don’t be a snobby dick and start telling people they suck because they don’t make as much as you and can’t afford your choices. I’m not pointing at anyone, I just think it’s a shitty way to conduct yourself.
      I am 100% on board with the concept of saving money until you can afford a better quality and longer lasting unit. In a perfect world … but for those that can’t or choose not to, cheaper pressure washers can and will serve them just fine. Even if they don’t last long.
      ………………………
      Now keeping in the spirit of this channel, which is advising the best tools/products that provide value, I would advise Kranzle pressure washers ONLY. Not AR, Karcher, Active, Comet or any other brand. Kranzle only. NOT because they’re the most expensive (they’re actually not), it’s because they offer the best value for the individual and arguably for the professional. But realistically, the buyer has to choose what kind of “value” is worth investing in. That’s not up to any of us, rather it’s in the mindset of the buyer.

      @@ObsessedGarage The engine being behind the rear axle is what has made the 911 platform such an incredible performace car since the 60's. It has undergone incremental changes to continually refine it's performance. There are other cars that may be faster in a straight line but drive a 911 more aggressive and you will easily feel the difference. It's true that the weight distribution in a rear engine design is cumbersome but the issue many people have is that they do not know how to drive a rear engine car. You can't drive it the same way as a typical front engine performance car, but if you know when to apply brakes and gas, it connects like nothing else, especially not a Camaro.
