Well the whole boring stuff is just.. rank 30 slots... beside high 3/3 items drops. Just grind A LOT if you came back after a year like me.. and WARBAND tableu.. to max.. + helliquary. They should give ppl a much better way of getting more materials to rank 30 faster on slots.
I second that! As a new players (3 ish months) I’m starting to think that I will take me too much time! Already past paragon server lvl but can’t do shit in raids!
@@knighspiritdude… the grind is getting to be insane… all my primary is at level 16, and secondary 17, but now it feels like a week for 1 upgrade… and I play ALOT…
I would also like to point out that Side Quests beside the familiar shop gives 3 quests + a bonus 3 dust per day. You may think it's not much but they rake up so fast that I actually get to upgrade my gear past 16 very quickly by doing dailies from that.

Best way to do it, IMO, is I’ll go grab bounties, then go to side quests, see if I need any of the quests for that location, if I don’t I refresh, check the next, if I do need 1 or 2, I’ll accept it, and go run all 3 side quests, by the time I’ve finished that, majority of my bounties are done, or nearly done. Easy peasy quick and breezy. Beastiary also atleast once, but I’m bad about not turning it in asap so I can be collecting more monster essence instead of wasting the chance. This seems to make my dailies go a lot faster, instead of just accepting some random set of side quests I don’t even wanna do… but at times you’ll get some that you’ve already completed, or you’ll refresh 3 times and it won’t match ur bounties. If that happens, I’ll knock out the first set of bounties and grab my next set, in hopes that it matches up with side quests. Sometimes it doesn’t. But a lot of times I get atleast one side quest I needed for exploration progress. Good luck everyone!

I believe the cr increases are the same or close enough to be called the same, however, if you focus on upgrading 1 piece at a time, you will unlock the extra bonus for that piece much more quickly.
Yeah but it costs progressively more. The Cr increases are always the same but the cost gets higher.
I need a better clan and to join warband. Im so far behind. No wardband and only level 35 helliquary. 2k res Monk stuck in Inferno 3 at about 28k-29k CR. Playing since about 6 months after release with a break for about 2 months.

U can also run cursed towers for farming people sleeping on the towers u can farm a lot in there.
Tower farming is the shitttt. I just run that shit till I’m full. Even after time runs out, just keep pushing, poppin lights, and loading up. Plus with all the elites, it’s like hands down the best spot to get spirit essence. But shhhh🤫 lol

Do vault raid
Many new players see day one players and instantly want the same CR. Many seem to have no patience. They also expect gratuitous carries from randoms. I always loved when my alt was still stuck in one difficulty level lower than my main, and I'm carrying losers with rank 10 gear who are 500-1000 under CR thru dungeons in a difficulty level higher than myself. So.much.entitlement!!!
It's taken my low spend (only on bp and awakening) barb alt 6 mos to be able to start in the same new inferno difficulty as my paragon would say I should be able to do but couldn't bcz my CR was too low.
I am also now able to handle the last raid boss in the current inferno difficulty. Inf IV Drepsaigh is still hard for me, but it's not red very high difficulty. And I dont die. In another 2 weeks or so, I should be pretty much at recommended CR. I still have a few pieces of gear that are 100 to 150 CR too low. I NEED AN OFF HAND PLEASE.
Typically, my WB finishes a difficulty and moves to the next level when I'm still dying everywhere, and my CR is still far too low for the final boss. My WB is ranked like 35, not a top one, but not a bad one either.
I am able to keep up with current content now. So I'm making progress. Baby steps.
I am 1153 paragon with 5 of 8 legendary gear now rank 26. My warband tableau is 1060 cr. My res just crossed 1000 today, in fact. My CR is 30.7K.
The only thing that is super behind is my helliquary. It is only level 55 whereas my main is level 64. There is no catch up mechanic for helliquary, other than the law of diminishing returns the higher you level up. But still, that difference is also only about a 100 CR gain for my main over my alt.
I'm there at 6 mos. Just gotta grind it out if you don't want to spend (I'm not dropping money for bundles in my alt, it's that simple). It's not going to happen overnight, but it will happen. The game is designed that the higher you are the more your progress stalls out. It's true for gems, legendary gems, upgrading gear, helliquary, WB Tableau and pretty much everything.
You just can't lose heart or think you're gonna be amazing in pvp instantly. Because you won't be - unless you swipe swipe swipe.

They only way to get 31,000 cr is by spending. F2P will always be behind on cr
