Older equipment and trucks are the only way to go, no emission parts to fail, no electric over hydraulic, as long as it has air, fuel, water and oil its going to run and repairs are cheaper than a new machine. I run a 40 year old well drilling rig with a 40 year old international truck under it and my semi tractor for hauling our drill pipe and equipment is a 40 year old autocar. I paid $7,000 for my well rig and spent $7,000 on repairs and made $120,000 on my first well with that truck, a new well rig is about 1.2 million with $15,000 a month payments which i don't want.
