Their music is on iTunes. I am a little weary of purchasing any more of their music for fear they don't see any of the royalties. I am very concerned that the label owns the rights to their music! I've contacted their current manager to find out any information.
@@RosePetal17 I know that Eric and Woody did get the copyrights back on the songs they wrote, but I'm not sure about any royalties from their other music.
Google translation...… Before the album release, it was a single-cut song. I think whether it will change so much with Duncan conducting. Originally, since this band is a rock band, I think that it is not strange.
Google Translation: I came to Duncan and greedy Eric was idol at that time, although the beard was a taboo trend, idol treatment was weird because it was awkward-
Hi Radhika, look up Duncan Faure. He is a South African musician who had the same kind of fan craziness with Rabbitt (in South Africa). He formed that band with Trevor Rabin, who went on to work with YES and also record solo music and movie soundtracks. Duncan joined "The Rollers" in 1979, after Les McKeown left BCR. He's quite fabulous isn't he??? He was a wonderful collaborator to Eric and Woody. His voice does remind me of a cross between John Lennon (who I have the sense is his idol), and Paul McCartney. I really wish The Rollers had had more success with their new sound. They were painfully unrecognized for their amazing musicianship!
There might have been a time that I actually liked this song, but my emotions were turned upside down after Les left the band. In my heart & mind, the Rollers were not the band I fell in love with without him. Sorry… just my opinion. ☹️
They regroup with a talented new singer and record their best set of tunes since 'Wouldn't You Like It' in a vibrant power pop/new wave style and... Eric grows a moustache. 🤦♂️ Hadn't he seen enough magicians, sadistic military types and gentlemen friends of Tam Paton to realise how this totally sabotaged everything?
The Rollers (Bay City Rollers) in 1979. New singer, new sound, shortened name. Quality music.
This deserved success
This song could defientley hold it's own chart number in today's world. Love it when Duncan and Woody sing together.
Eric's moustache.... I just can't....
This is one of my favorite albums of The Rollers
I love this song! They had a great sound by then. Too bad they weren't given a chance with this lineup.
So true. They could have been real competition for any rock band at the time. My heart hurts at how they we’re mismanaged by their record company.
Still one of my favorites!!!!
Loved Duncan Faures vocals and got the Elevator album release at the time. As well as this single. Both out in 1979.
love this song
GREAT SONG! LOVE IT! 1st time hearing it! ✨♥️✨♥️✨♥️✨♥️✨♥️✨🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
I love this song!!!!!!!!
one of the best bcr ever.
I Loooooooove this song!!!
Duncan Faure..proudly South African (ex- Rabbitt)
Yeah, Mr. Faure definitely added a new dimension to the Roller's writing and sound. Just as he did with Rabbitt. Great pop-rock sense.
I love Duncan's voice, he helped them create a whole new sound!
Duncan avgreat musician. played and sang with a great SA band called Rabbit prior yo Bay City Roller days
I agree!
@@mariedechalain7694 I found "Rabbit's album: "A Croak and a Grunt in the Night!" Really good!

I loved the Elevator album! Some really great music. Thanks again Janny.
Love this. Thanks for posting this.
I still love this song :)
I remember the song but did'nt realise it was th BAY CITY ROLLERS back then , did Duncan LEAVE and Les McKeown replace him ?
Brings back memories of the Palamino and the Roxy.
I have some pics with Duncan in the band, sent to me from a fan, of The Roxy gigs in New York in the 80s.
Wish I could turn back time and go to another show there.
I saw them at the Palamino!!
@@carolperrenpud4364 it was one of the hottest days and it was a fun show.
Together with It's a Game their best rockin' song!

Duncan Faure is SO cute! I wish he were my boyfriend!!! ❤❤❤
Japan:アルバム発売前に、シングルカットされた曲ですね。ダンカン指揮で、こんなにも変わってしまうものかと思います。元々、このバンドはロックバンドですので、不思議ではないと、思います。^^

Would be a great video if the sound wasn't off. Always loved the song though.

I agree 💯 Not a bad song, but just not the same without Leslie.
