Got to max negative karma before I even went to water purification station the first time. It's almost like putting morality on a simple plus and minus system is utterly flawed. Reminds me of Fable series where divorcing your wife is probably the worst thing you can do (judging by amount of negative karma) but simply killing her is something you can repay in couple minutes of killing bandits and wasps.

I instantly fell in love with NV and dumped 72 hours in it. The story was fun, the DLCs were great, the dialog was great, probably one of my favorite games of all time. I started F3 after I stopped playing NV and just never got hooked on it like I did with NV.
1:56 the way she gets up is pretty unsettling, and that eerie sound from the soundtrack happened just in time as well. This really makes me think Bethesda games being buggy is a feature.

It also ease the gameplay very much, even in the other dlc " Operation Anchorage" you don't even have to fight the Chinese general, you can make him suicide.
And you can Convince the President of the Enclave to blow himself, and the base up. Also Fallout NV I think all DLC bosses can be persuaded not to fight with 100 speech, and At the Dam you can convince each sides leaders to retreat. It is entirely possible to do a pacifist run of Vegas.
I would say that having a voice almost destroyed the role play experience that I had with the older fallouts. Every time I created a character, I had a voice in my mind that would fit him, like being a awesome hero guy, or just a jackass who would love to see the whole world burn, and the choices just had me being more in love with the character.

I always thought companies were supposed to work up to this point of genius-ness, not down... Fallout 4, you were OK, but you will never amount up to Fallout 3.
It made the game more personal to me because of every choice I made in fallout 3 affected other choices to be made even in dialogue but in fallout 4 it ends up the same most of the time in dialogue. I also liked in fallout 3 it had so many inside jokes and content relating to other things. I also liked scavenging for parts to keep your gear strong and in shape it made it feel more like a wasteland and survival. Having different outcomes gave the game personality.
yea in fallout 4 you got pretty much all of the weapons in the first 5 hours doomed to upgrade it over and over again throughout the story... fallout 3 and new vegas made you think oh shit, my guns about to break, gotta fix it, or oh im running low on ammo, better use a different one... not to mention the hundreds of different weapons
God I miss old fallout, it's honestly so sad that the potential for a great fallout game that was set up by fallout 3 and new vegas was wasted on fallout 4, don't get me wrong by itself it's a great game but it's a horrendous fallout game if that makes sense, they ditched almost all the witty conversations and fun/interactive story telling that made the fallout world so enjoyable and traded it for better gameplay and turned it into a glorified shooter
I can't disagree, despite not being a huge fallout fan. Thing is, a CZcamsr convinced me to pick up New Vegas, and I never made it past Boulder City. Just lost interest. So I'll never dispute whether the older games are masterpieces but they just aren't for me.

I started playing the fallout franchise with fo4 but I got to say this dialogue is way more funny then the sarcastic option on fo4. They should bring back more of that for fo4. It would be funny to actually hear the player say that other then just reading it.
8 Mexican Guys I agree though, there are hidden gems in this option, I know it's stressful enough with the many lines actors had to record but I would've preferred if the dialogue options weren't so limited and you knew what you knew what you were going to say.
I played fo3 many times, but my latest play couple weeks ago I did "evil" playthrough for the first time somehow and was amazed at how many additional and hilarious dialogue comes out of it.

Fallout 4, you were OK, but you will never amount up to Fallout 3.

Tad Dad Well, you got a point there.
It made the game more personal to me because of every choice I made in fallout 3 affected other choices to be made even in dialogue but in fallout 4 it ends up the same most of the time in dialogue. I also liked in fallout 3 it had so many inside jokes and content relating to other things. I also liked scavenging for parts to keep your gear strong and in shape it made it feel more like a wasteland and survival. Having different outcomes gave the game personality.
yea in fallout 4 you got pretty much all of the weapons in the first 5 hours doomed to upgrade it over and over again throughout the story... fallout 3 and new vegas made you think oh shit, my guns about to break, gotta fix it, or oh im running low on ammo, better use a different one... not to mention the hundreds of different weapons
but fallout 3 was just dumbed down from the previous games

God I miss old fallout, it's honestly so sad that the potential for a great fallout game that was set up by fallout 3 and new vegas was wasted on fallout 4, don't get me wrong by itself it's a great game but it's a horrendous fallout game if that makes sense, they ditched almost all the witty conversations and fun/interactive story telling that made the fallout world so enjoyable and traded it for better gameplay and turned it into a glorified shooter

I can't disagree, despite not being a huge fallout fan. Thing is, a CZcamsr convinced me to pick up New Vegas, and I never made it past Boulder City. Just lost interest. So I'll never dispute whether the older games are masterpieces but they just aren't for me.
Yeah, well. People said the same thing about Fallout 3 compared to 1 & 2. They really hated it, said it ruined the franchise, etc. You can't please everyone.

I started playing the fallout franchise with fo4 but I got to say this dialogue is way more funny then the sarcastic option on fo4. They should bring back more of that for fo4. It would be funny to actually hear the player say that other then just reading it.
That's why Fallout 4 isn't really a Fallout game anymore without its wits and pop culture references

8 Mexican Guys I agree though, there are hidden gems in this option, I know it's stressful enough with the many lines actors had to record but I would've preferred if the dialogue options weren't so limited and you knew what you knew what you were going to say.

I played fo3 many times, but my latest play couple weeks ago I did "evil" playthrough for the first time somehow and was amazed at how many additional and hilarious dialogue comes out of it.
This game was a masterpiece
