The first one isn't 100% hidden but enclave soldiers have a completely different voice than anyone else which is probably why some of his dialogue was missing.
He just gave up on America at the drop of a hat 😂

I'm guessing the 5:43 "please not me, I have a kid in Rivet city" is referring to James Hargrave's Dad. Since hes the only kid without a father, and his mother suggested that his father ran off into the waste, leaving his wife and kid alone.

I always liked helping Butch, even though he was an asshole. Poor guy didn't deserve his mom dying and I will prevent it every time.
In the end Butch is a better friend than Amata ever could be at least he gets to be a companion if you have neutral karma

@@galacticknight55544 I don't recall much, I only did it once and I haven't played it for years, but I think he encouraged you to kill the Radroach saying that sometimes you have to do the hard thing to protect yourself and others, in this case the Radroach being s threat to Vault residents
But then again, I don't recall it all correctly

Yes but in the purifier he is technically saving your life, so maybe he sees that as an exception

Let’s not mention how the Unity was to return in fallout 2 as bringers of Optional Mutation by Keene the super mutants leader and humanoid rights advocate… ‘but that isn’t true fallout’
The mutant GECK that Slate or whatever was probably going to weaponize in Brotherhood 2 because he still followed Attis’s words.
Attis who speaks in nature allegories as a reference to the LT’s ‘mutants are naturally better than humans in this new world’ and follows the masters ideas of Unity, and compliments them with bringing up how the Simple act of breeding is a threat… something ‘oh it takes a few years to get the juices going’ fallout 2 ignores.
Or how Blake the leader of the ghouls was protecting the vault because he knew the FEV was there and how horrible the expedients were, this compliments e BOS’s background as they left the place to be looted and flood the wasteland with mutants, some being Blake didn’t allow.
And read the back of the game box. BOS has opened recruiting pools.
First mission: a scribe is secreting running a raider gang who are selling slaves to the super mutants to gather information’

Man I was so addicted to this game back in the day, all these are basically nostalgias at this point💫
they weren't even new when I played my first play through, no one told me. Everyone should know this stuff or it seems like they aren't playing fallout for the game play or story but like its a game centered around shooting things, which its not. This definitely isn't CoD
back in the day? i still play this along with Fallout New Vegas, mods make the game infinitely replayable.

@@UltimateGamerCC Indeed, though FO3 has a charm that vanilla somehow maintains replayability for myself, nowadays I watch my friend play it through stream :)). As of New Vegas I ended up modding the game for months more than actually playing it after finishing it 100% haha, indeed the infinite amount of mods for it is amazing.

If you don't tell Bryan Wilks you found his father's body when the quest objective prompts you to, but instead just skip to the later parts of the quest, if you bring it up afterwards he will say he went and checked himself so he already knew. Also if you skipped the boy altogether and went directly to Dr. Lesko, he will tell you about Bryan and the boy will also have already knew about his father's death (but dialog will be different).
Another interesting detail is if you had disarmed the nuke in Megatown before talking to the mayor for the first time, his introductory will also be different.

@@bigbananadealer846 if your lucky or consoles laggy you have a few seconds where he walks to you and says things in the over world before starting dialogue I think, gotta be fast and zip left or right I assume he's usually walking up towards the gate when you spawn in

a reference to the stash behind megaton can be found in fallout 4 behind the museum of witchcraft
I found this on my first play through....literally only speed runners and people who don't go anywhere outside quests don't find this. Not that it really offers anything....good.
you can at least sell the Sniper Rifle, it's a late game weapon that you dont get to see ammo for until later, outside of vendors.@@ravinraven6913

There's actually several NPCs in megaton, maybe other areas too, who have alternate dialogue for if you're wearing a vault jumpsuit

You can also use the BB gun on Jonas and your Dad. There's some funny dialogue about bringing you into this world and taking you out if I remember correctly

I used to pronounce "cache" the way Three Dog does, but my brother told me it's pronounced "Cash". Now I'm still confused after all these years. lol
Same! I'm 34 years old and still find it extremely difficult not to pronounce the E in 'cache', and I was corrected more than a decade ago. Some habits die harder than others, I guess.
It's either or especially in America where we have many diff dialects, other English speaking countries like the ones who created our language "england" they pronounce with the e so I always have as well

Every time i see a unique character like sam warrick/railway rifle guy etc i mesmetron them for any unique interactions lol i noticed you can enslave the caravan guards too, if you run away, the trader will be cool with you after a couple days, also there's a unique guy near girdershade who attempts to rob you but his a nervous wreck lol

@@NewPaulActs17 it really is. No perk is honestly worth it and speech can be raised independently given how many skill books and skill points the game throws at you.
@@StarMarshal in fallout 3 charisma directly affect speech checks difficulty, so 100 speech doesn't give you 100% success without 10 charisma

Should make content on Paradise falls break out, its fun.
Mesmerize lots of people, Red is the best choice but do that after release her on super mutant camp at germantown and gave her the best weapons.
Before release all the slave make sure drop the best weapons on the ground just around the cage.
Also place weapons near rory's box but have to agree to escape.
Arkansas is too hostile to the other slave so release him at different time.

if your speech is high enough when talking to the andvale cannibals, you can use the same dialogue as the cannibal perk

On my playthrough of fallout 3, I came into megaton one time like I usually do, though I had the Sergeant Rl-3 bot and he's never had issues before that point, somehow one of the citizens aggro'd him and he murdered 95% of the megaton population and I just decided to roll with it

@@GeorgiawithaG I didn't know about it until I watched MATN's TTW playthrough, cus he did it in that series. I don't think a lot of people know that cus they tend to do the quest for him before finding Lamplight, so there's either paradise falls or rivet city.

I recommend leaving them with 1 weapon and a handfull of bullets. If they run back to Paradise Falls completely naked and unarmed, they often don’t make it there and then the guy at the gate calls you an idiot, and you don’t get any money.

Game is full of those little details that just add more to the overall experience and some people still like to trash talk the game as flawed just because it was fully made by Bethesda. And praise New Vegas as the only good 3D Fallout just because Obsidian made it. When in fact both of them are great games. Funny thing is that they talk as if Obsidian team was composed from most of the original game devs, while in fact only a couple or like 4 people were present in the studio. And nowadays is possible that none of them is still present.
I remember coming across some slaves and tried to free their collar only for them to blow up 🙁 whoops..

You can use the mezmetron to brainwash an enclave trooper into joining the brotherhood should you have the t-45d armor to give them.
Did Nick Valentine's voice actor really voice an Enclave Trooper?
He voiced lots of bethesda characters. FNV characters, skyrim, oblivion and a few others. Hes a generic vpice actor in the fallouts
@@owenhatcher5197He didn't give his voice for either Oblivion or New Vegas. Oblivion only has about 7 or 8 voice actors and they're all very recognisable. Only gave his voices for the Bethesda Fallout games (3, 4 & 76).

This game has so much more grit than 4. Why did they make the wasteland feel so much softer
I think it comes down to atmosphere. Fallouts 3 had a nuclear green sky, and most of the buildings are more or less colorless. By contrast fallout 4 had a lot more color and the sky is your type beautiful sky.
@@jonahulichny9874 Yeah, Fallout 4 was overall a lot more colourful and cleaner, which gave it a more cartoony look. It didn't have the usual grit that you'd associate with the fallout series. It doesn't help that the weapons and enemy designs look pretty cartoony as well. Case in Point the "Assault rifle" and the institute laser weapons.
