Funnily enough, with Night Springs's release every one of Remedy's social media accounts was rebranded as Poison Pill Entertainment, so Sam Lake is just playing himself.
No, that wasn't Jesse Faden, that was Beth Wilder, she was in Quantum Break. As well as Jesse's brother, only they weren't related. And sheriff was the protagonist. It's all different realities of the same narrative. They DLC is kind if the epilogue to Quantum Break. Yes, you should play it for the bigger picture.
Some Finnish things: Lumivista could be translated as SnowVista. Kuolonrally is Death Rally, one of Remedy's older games. The poster says: "gas in (his) veins", "fast lane straight to HELL", "Movie enterprise Dark Place presents...Death Rally", "Thomas Seine movie", "Thomas Seine is Rhyme Whiz(probably matches an actual name like Tom the Poet, but that's funniest literal translation I got)"
I literally just spent an hour writing a comment about how Sam Lake is an actual madman for this DLC and CZcams deleted it... So in summary - You are a maniac, Sam.
26:24 I just realized that comment is a reference to the nightmare scene in Max Payne 1 where Max realizes he’s in a comic. “I was in a graphic novel. Funny as hell, it was the most horrible thing I could think of”
I'm starting to have a very strange feeling that Taken, the Hiss, and these Quantum Break enemies may have nearly everything in common. When Alan is in the dark place, the Taken are all shadow versions of him. This meshes with Quantum Break where all these shadow enemies are other versions of himself (I gather anyways, I haven't played QB yet). And the similarities to the Hiss are slightly lesser, but there are some clear lines drawn. And now I'm wondering if Alan's writing has somehow brought all these characters together. Or will soon, for some purpose.
This entire episode actually blew my mind and your commentary really helped me understand some of what was going on thank you librarian !! Youre the best !!
How many different ways can the elements of these games be permutated to generate alternate histories that somehow still manage to mesh seamlessly? Please, do get back with us with Final Draft, but not too soon. I need to savor this.

Yt mods are less than useless. they literally avoid bots and seem to selectively delete people's obviously harmless comments

No, QB's enemies are just normal soldiers/mercs.
Концовка этого дополнения просто: "В жизни каждого человека бывают моменты, когда зашел не в ту дверь."
"What is this, some kind of time breaker?" - John time
Love how Sam Lake is humming Ahti's Finnish Tango at the start
Hello, you are my favorite creator
This entire episode actually blew my mind and your commentary really helped me understand some of what was going on thank you librarian !! Youre the best !!
I hope you play quantum break after this
Hmm.. all those little dodecahedrons remind me of that one big you can find in Control, in Sterling AWE section. Is this connected, I bet it is.

Yay yay double yay!!
Interestingly, you chose the EXACT same things I did in the text adventure at the end. Every single one.
28:15 this seems to be a reference to the first game remedy made. called "death rally", as the name suggest, its a rally driving game :P
