Recently in last month my Honda crv 2016 also blown out at 80k with piston handle broken and water pump issue , from last 8yrs all serviced carried out by Honda dealership service center. Now Honda is no more reliable and it’s 3rd incident in my friend circle.

Welcome to Honda! This is normal, ticking is loud af on new oil. The older more used your oil gets it’ll deafen but it won’t ever go away.

I'm already at 200 thousand miles and my engine has never sounded strange again, Honda engines like miles, just don't treat them like sports cars.

change the oil to Castrol or Valvoline, after 3 thousand miles the noise disappeared,
