Oh, yes. And about that same time (1970) there were British soldiers in the streets of Belfast and Londonderry pointing guns and firing tear gas at local protesters. Thames TV seems to have forgotten all about that.
God bless American people 🇺🇸🇻🇳❤❤
The ANG and AirNG have been called up a lot more for full deployment to Iraq and Afghanistan over the years. It's definitely not part time today.
Month after Kent Stare.
For an American his questions specifically about guns probably seem a bit odd since guns are so much more common in the US. All the Police were already armed anyway, with live rounds.(Obviously it's complicated by the fact that they are being confronted by "peaceful protestors" or "violent rioters", depending on your view...)
They were absolutely peaceful you obfuscating ass. Furthermore, they were incredibly far away from the people that cowardly shot them unarmed.
@@guitarpop 😁😆😅😂🤣 "his questions specifically about guns" 😅😂 .., I can see that wsn't specific enough for you, dumbo. Even "depending on your view" was too confusing? 🤔
@@guitarpop how old are you?
I can see how the news media, basically hasn’t changed. They’re basically one sided.
It's almost as if the National Guard had just murdered peaceful, unarmed students a month before...
peace and love
Could this happen again nowadays ?
I hope it does
Nah, the Boomers don't care now, since they are in no danger of being drafted. 😆
Democrats did this in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2022🤣🤣these people are weirdo baby killers🤢🤣🤣
Easily. History repeats itself
Doesn't have to, now the P I G S have military equipment.
Well, history teaches us that the students were right.
History teaches us that were you do not oppose tyranny then you will lose your freedoms and live as a slave
Their same ideology is running the show today...I don't think life is better or safer or fairer now. They were wrong.
@@raijinenel3116 I think we can safely say that the US Government were wrong. Just as they wrong with Iraq, Afghanistan....shall I continue?
@@andrewjones-productions Correct.
HAHHAHHAHA ok Boomer.
What has changed??
I have never seen a brow more furrowed than on that mayor. He looks comically evil.
Bring back civics?
@@greghonda5475 I have an SUV.
@@greghonda5475 civics as in Constitution! Not car!
@@greghonda5475 ya you're right. Thinking you were young i specified. Boggles the mind sometimes.
17:07 fortuitous.
So many parallels to today's BLM and far right protests. For the non-violent protest I can't see turning out armed National Guard. But for violent protests like for example what happened on 1/6/2021 at the Capital a violent response seems appropriate. With that said we are all Americans and fellow citizens. Violence on either side should be the absolute last resort. There are other more appropriate methods to make a point that violence.
Trump wanted the national guard for 01/06/21 , pulosii didn't, nor miley
I was an any Vietnam protester, Never saw any money from Moscow!
Medium Cool part 2
When we decided Kent State was bad and wrong, America started backsliding.
The KSU massacre was a terrorist attack committed by the US government. The USA’s Tiananmen Square
持っている銃がM1以外は、私が入隊した昭和五十六年とたいして変わらない😅
