- Lakewood Ranch near Sarasota, Florida is a multi-generational planned community with 55 PLUS neighborhoods, within it. This is Part 1 of a two-part series on Lakewood Ranch. In this video, we visit the neighborhood of Cresswind, tour the model homes, and show the base prices and HOA fees.

We started our search there then looked at the villages. I prefer Lakewood Ranch because I enjoy boating/fishing, my wife prefers TV. Going to be interesting. 😂

Very nice homes…but I don’t like that each neighborhood/village can’t share their amenities…. You can always add a telescoping/fanned out drying rack to the laundry room wall. No birdcages over the pools etc.? Thanks for all you do!

Awesome video! Great job! Lake wood ranch has nice houses but the amenities do not seem to match what is available in the Villages. I'll steal a few design ideas and try to incorporate them into the home I choose. Thanks for your wonderful videos.

Not really sure on that! I'm guessing not. We took the base price right off the flyers they gave us. The lot is probably not included either.
No that’s the base price. The models usually have about 200k worth of upgrades

What did you think of Lakewood Ranch - compared to TV?
That sounds like another video! LR is more multi-generational than a 55 plus. We wonder if Middleton will feel like LR. We didn't feel a sense of community like there is in TV. It is also truly gated in LR. Amenities are not shared such as pools, clubhouses, and pickleball courts.
