Thanks for watching!! I can see where it’ll be REALLY fun once I really understand what I’m doing. Can you explain to me what went wrong when I was trying to land on the carrier ship? I’m thinking that I should have waited for audible permission to land instead of going for it as soon as I got the green lights? Or maybe it was something else that I missed?
@@DADDOnaut I think because the Destroyer is moving, and you try to board from the front ? But that should not be a problem, once we go near the big ship we will be carried away along the big ship. I m mostly land with landing software that you can buy from any Equipment Dock.
@@DADDOnaut Also try Terran Cadet Scenario, in my opinion that scenario is the best for new player. As Terran is the easiest to play. The Young Gun give you Freedom for early play but without knowing about the gameplay, it will be difficult.
Roger that!… yeah the landing software was mentioned during the tutorial but I didn’t think much of it at the time. I’ll definitely check that out. As well as the Terran scenario! I really appreciate the help! Do you by chance have any other space games that you’d suggest that I try out?
I believe I’m really going to dig it once I get more time to jump into it. I meant to ask you… do you have any favorite space mobile games? I need something to dig into while I’m at work lol
I run dual sticks and hotas set-up and let me tell you ..X4 is even BETTER and easier to set-up than ED or SC. Flying and combat feels as good if not better. Graphically the diversity and detail of stations, ships and especially capital ships leaves those other games for dead, not to mention the smoothness. I just cannot go back to the drab, same same style of ED and the jankiness of SC. Like you I started X4 rather late after hundreds of hours in ED and SC but after getting over the steep learning curve, it is just a better, more polished and vastly large game.
@ironmarshall1963 finally I get to talk to someone about dual sticks!! How does that work? What does the left control? When you let go/center the stick does the ships motion just stop? I really appreciate the encouragement with X4. I defiantly want to spend more time with it.

I actually have another stick an ST290 pro that I’ve never used. I know it’s not the best but I may give it a shot this weekend. It almost sounds similar to how the dual sticks of an Xbox/ps controller works for fps games. Thanks for watching and even more so for taking the time to engage! I really appreciate it.

yeah, I use sticks for Elite and Star Citizen, but for X4 or Space Eng (flying part) gamepad is perfect for me.
For me, X4 is the Best Single Player Space Game.
Have been playing for few years.
And, miners is our best friend.
