Something I usually find in my games is scanning arrays are always in demand. And best part is theyre just silicon wafers and refined metals, which you probably already have going for microchips or hull parts anyways. If you do feel a bit gamey, just do the advanced satellites trade a few times to "use up" some scanning arrays to create demand for them once more.
You can choose just Hull Parts or just Claytronics with the recycler if you put a limit of 1 on the container storage for the part you don't want to produce. Claytronics only will skyrocket your energy and scrap metal needs though.
Skillet, this is awesome analysis, as always Brother! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and methods, along with the thoughtful explanations. Excellent and useful content, keep it up your channel is great!
i want to give a nice tip in mid game, maybe u said it in this video, once u have about 50 millions, with 10 rep with argon and/or terran u can accept a mission called argon/terran vs xenon, this is amazing, u want to search for assemble fleet missions, which are super rewarding, u can do that even without the 50 mill but with that money u can build ships with expensive equipment and the reward is the value of the fleet plus 50%, i just did about 100 millions in 30 min with seta
I actually didn’t mention missions in this video, that will be a separate one. But that is good to know! I know station building missions can be lucrative too!
@@T-Skillet yea that station buildings are the same missions, usually this missions have 2 parts, 1 assemble fleet and Other is build a station, the fleets are Better cause station building is slower but if you actually got a building ship and resources its very profitable too
I went hunting for a builder cause I didn’t want to buy one but if I did I’d go Paranid cause they have the fastest cruising speed for a builder without mods.
@@T-Skillet the paranid have efficient ships, miners are the best i think too, and they have a lot of Lore and still making those missions against the holy order, since the last dlc i prefer the boron boron ships, destroyer weapons have 11km Range and the hydra ls Broken against m and s ships, boron are really fun!
I love being in the Regal. Ray is if-y for me. I think in a pack it will work well. I need to get bunch of Mako's people have been having success with them and a horrible time with the Barracuda. So more testing to be done.
That I feel is up to you. If you think you have the money to expand your station(s) and reach then yeah… Mid-game has started. If you start finding common supply chain issues, mid-game start. But every universe is different and what you need to do can change at a moments notice. It’s really hard to tell. I’m getting to that point in my universe but there is always a distraction to take my attention.
The argon sector that they took over, in my first game it was tel then argon cause the FAF kept blowing up there stations, i know cause i watch them lol! P.S in both games i have played, the Zyarth are always from mid game getting killed byt the xenon , if i don't get involved then i think they would be the first empire to fall! Just want to know if that has kinda happen in your game or it has not?
For me it happens all the time. Just north of HaT sector. Xenon will take out the Paranid there and push Zyarth towards 11th Hour or whatever the Aargon sector is. BUt they never really die. they always manage 1-3 sectors.
@@patrickrobinson545 No problem! If they do lose their starting sectors though they will have the stations in FRF and if you play the split story you'd be able to still get engine mk 4, cobra, asp, dragon and chimera.
I realise I'm a bleading heart welfare statist. I save sectors by building defense stations on Xenon gates and mostly earn money by selling the mountains of loot they give. And turning the defense stations into scrap yards. Xenon farms to get loot and claytronics+hull parts!
Hey what's up ✌️😁... I start with scanning most of the universe map what-have-you... And those start with a custom start so I start with a real good fighter.... Then I go to the Duke's buccaneers... And persuade them to give me their ships... And with the sale of the ships which they so generously donated 🤑... I buy a handful of traders miners etc.... Then eventually I would build claytronics, hull parts station, both teladi . And argon.. then computronics substrate/ metallic micro lattice and / silicon carbide... And I have almost everyone trade with my stations with a handful of exceptions... Then I will obviously see the most lacking resource that is needed.. and go from there... Thank you duke's buccaneers 😂
@@T-Skillet hey when you sell it shipped or a warf or shipyard does it actually recycle it.. I think I heard it doesn't.. but it's probably just wishful thinking. I mean after repossessing ships from the dukes buccaneers😁

I have literally found scanning arrays in high demand in the Fires of Defeat play through. I’m gonna be making a station for it! 🤑
Cool great tip.

I’ve only had on of these stations and never knew you could do that. I remember mine flipping between them. That is good to know though!
You're a pro. I just built all possible buildings on my HQ to reach ship production.
I've always kept my HQ pretty bare. Once i read that people will sit in your personal office i said.... Hell nah....
Thank you great mid game. Am starting out only 100 hours in this so help full.
Thank you! I hope you enjoy the game!! So much to discover and do.

Thats Two Grand not Grand Exchange, and im pretty sure its always been Argon, its just the Xenon typically take out the Argon in the first few hours.
Never mind your right it is Teladi initially according to Rogueys map
I used that website a lot for x3. Good place for information!
After how many hours of play do you think the mid game begins? Thx for the video...
