This is not our starting lineup. Cape Verde is a red list county. We couldn't send our premier league based players. Proud of the boys for grinding out the win

Totally agree with you. That goal was caused by the whole Nigerian defense keeping a high line. The guy playing at Right Back was caught out of position. Nigeria was lucky but they too put in some attacking play especially from the flanks and... yes they deserve to be commended for grinding out a win away from home despite missing 5 to 6 first choice players based in the U.K.
