The sad truth is that if Nigeria qualify for the world cup, we will come 3rd or last and this is because of the manager. This is what is happening with solksjaer, getting undeserved wins hides the problem of what team is going through and when a country exposes how bad this manager is, thats when he will get sacked and by then it will already be to late. Sorry for being negative but I'm saying how it is, he will get sacked after the world cup group stage cos I don't see us coming 1st or 2nd regardless of the opponents😪

Thank you for speaking the home truth. You are not being negative, hence no need to apologize. Gernot Rohr doesn't have anything to offer. You are even too positive to think Nigeria with win the final playoffs in March 2022. I don't see any team among the other 9 that Nigeria can beat if their performance in the last few games are considered. You want to play such rubbish against Algeria or Senegal or Egypt or Morocco? They will skin you alive. Nigeria may not be going to the next World Cup unless something drastic happens to the team between now and March. Take that to the Bank. And I'm not apologizing for saying it.

Mark you that qualifiers are always tricky and tough since the teams are usually assembled within a short time from their various clubs. Once they qualify they gets better cos they will tend to blend better after camping and playing friendlies.
No teams is at it best and even when they play well at this stage there is no guarantee that they will sustain the level.

Nigeria won all three away games, but struggled to get results at home . We won 1, lost 1 and drew one. Aside not playing beautiful football, I suspect there is something wrong with the pitch in Lagos that is making the team struggle at home. The NFF should shove personal interests aside and move the team back to Uyo where they have had great results in recent times. Watching the team play on that Lagos pitch reminds me of 2006 when we were held to a 1-1 draw by Angola in a world cup qualifier at the Sani Abacha stadium in Kano, We had won all our games played at the Abuja stadium which was home to the super eagles at the time, but the then NFF president, Ibrahim Galadima decided to turn the crucial game against Angola to a popularity test by moving the match to his home state Kano. Galadima's action eventually cost us the ticket. It turned out that the weather condition and state of the pitch in Kano favoured Angola. The current crop of players should speak up now if they are unhappy with the pitch in Lagos, because speaking up after failing to qualify for the world cup will be unacceptable.

Nigeria typically doesn't have the mental strength to upstage a team like Argentina that's why Argentina has won every world cup match they played against Nigeria. Until we get a coach that can make us play with the fluidity of a Brazil or Germany, we shouldn't wish for Argentina. At this rate anyway, Nigeria may not qualify for the next world cup.

The keeper should have saved it. It was straight to him. I have watched all the matches this Nigerian keeper has stood in goal. He has never made a decent save for super Eagles. In the 4-4 draw with Sierra Leone it was even clearer.
If Nigeria is struggling against Minnows, we may not qualify when if we don't step up our game and we are drawn with nations such as Algeria, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Cameroon, Ghana etc

Ghana, Cameroun, DRC, Egypt, Mali, Senegal, Morocco and Tunisia all of them won at home and Nigeria together with Algeria avoided defeat at home to progress. It looks like whoever setup these qualifiers had some insights on who'd play at home and what was needed to qualify.
