Fire Rohr and you will actually have to pay the next coach. I heard Rohr was getting paid for many months so how can he give the team his best effort? It's a bad system there. One of those oil tycoons needs to take over the whole team so players and coaches are willing to give 100% for Nigeria.

Nigeria are a 100 times better than their performance in reality. It comes down to the coach. He needs to leave,
This is NOT a poor side. They are at least top 3 in Africa. The coach is wasting the talent.
I was saying this just the other day. Our best games was when we had a Dutch coach, I think the Dutch style of football serves us better, not so much the German style.

Well done Nigeria ❤️ from India🇮🇳
The sad truth is that if Nigeria qualify for the world cup, we will come 3rd or last and this is because of the manager. This is what is happening with solksjaer, getting undeserved wins hides the problem of what team is going through and when a country exposes how bad this manager is, thats when he will get sacked and by then it will already be to late. Sorry for being negative but I'm saying how it is, he will get sacked after the world cup group stage cos I don't see us coming 1st or 2nd regardless of the opponents😪
We won't get past the group stage of world cup
Thank you for speaking the home truth. You are not being negative, hence no need to apologize. Gernot Rohr doesn't have anything to offer. You are even too positive to think Nigeria with win the final playoffs in March 2022. I don't see any team among the other 9 that Nigeria can beat if their performance in the last few games are considered. You want to play such rubbish against Algeria or Senegal or Egypt or Morocco? They will skin you alive. Nigeria may not be going to the next World Cup unless something drastic happens to the team between now and March. Take that to the Bank. And I'm not apologizing for saying it.
Omooooo the first problem is our goal keeper.
Well done brothers from Ghana

This super eagles are not playing up to standard...the coach needs to be shown the door.
Mark you that qualifiers are always tricky and tough since the teams are usually assembled within a short time from their various clubs. Once they qualify they gets better cos they will tend to blend better after camping and playing friendlies.
No teams is at it best and even when they play well at this stage there is no guarantee that they will sustain the level.
Take Portugal's current campaign for a place in Qatar 2022 as an example.
Totally agreed with you and he is just there to select the players the sad aspect of it is that he is paid millions to that without any technical knowledge about the game

The Nigerian team Coach has no tactics at all… like u have so much talent with no plan
Nigeria won all three away games, but struggled to get results at home . We won 1, lost 1 and drew one. Aside not playing beautiful football, I suspect there is something wrong with the pitch in Lagos that is making the team struggle at home. The NFF should shove personal interests aside and move the team back to Uyo where they have had great results in recent times. Watching the team play on that Lagos pitch reminds me of 2006 when we were held to a 1-1 draw by Angola in a world cup qualifier at the Sani Abacha stadium in Kano, We had won all our games played at the Abuja stadium which was home to the super eagles at the time, but the then NFF president, Ibrahim Galadima decided to turn the crucial game against Angola to a popularity test by moving the match to his home state Kano. Galadima's action eventually cost us the ticket. It turned out that the weather condition and state of the pitch in Kano favoured Angola. The current crop of players should speak up now if they are unhappy with the pitch in Lagos, because speaking up after failing to qualify for the world cup will be unacceptable.
be honest, you struggling everywhere the last three matches were a joke coming from Nigeria...it almost looks like some kind of voodoo wants NIGERIA in cup at any cost.
Honestly. Some voodoo wants Nigeria at the World Cup by all means. Even it the away leg at Cape Verde, the Cape Verdean scored an incredible own goal against themselves to hand Nigeria an undeserved away win! But that voodoo has to go on steroids to safe Nigeria in the third round playoffs. I don't see any country that Nigeria can upstage with the way they are currently playing
Someday Nigeria win the worldcup but only find the guy that solves that puzzle
In our lifetime?
If they found that guy, why not
@@Goozen12 That guy? What guy?
that coach has yet to be born or hire Louis van Gaal
Any decent manager will have this Nigerian team sailing through that group. Guy needs to be sacked. Losing to Central African Republic alone deserves a sack, absolutely clueless.
That guy has a blood covenant with NFF, THE WORST COACH IN HISTORY OF NIGERIA
Nigeria won the game but Cape Verde won our hearts ❤
Obrigado desde Cabo Verde.

FLY TO THE SKY, NIGERIAAAAAA 🎉🎉
Deep down, we Nigerians want to see our green shirts flying on the pitch and waving from the crowd in Qatar.
We relish to see a Nigeria vs Argentina again
Please to the Nigerian Super Eagles, do not disappoint us like our president
We won't make it past group stages bro
@Okechukwu
Nigeria won't qualify at this rate
@orovwuje
I don't relish Nigeria meeting Argentina again in a World Cup. Nigeria typically doesn't have the mental strength to upstage a team like Argentina that's why Argentina has won every world cup match they played against Nigeria. Until we get a coach that can make us play with the fluidity of a Brazil or Germany, we shouldn't wish for Argentina. At this rate anyway, Nigeria may not qualify for the next world cup.
Nigeria doesn't deserve a trip to Qatar 2022 with such a journeyman of a mediocre, happy-go-lucky coach! Rohr should have been fired after Russia 2018....SMH

@@Wolff13 see a pattern? All the managers are using a formation that doesn't suit the players collectively
@Wolf
That's why they are not winning again. But the can at least bank of the fact that they have had very recent success. .e.g. Portugal won the penultimate Euro Nation's League. Italy won the last Euro championships. Nigeria hasn't won anything to deserve having us endure the current rubbish.

The keeper should have saved it. It was straight to him. I have watched all the matches this Nigerian keeper has stood in goal. He has never made a decent save for super Eagles. In the 4-4 draw with Sierra Leone it was even clearer.
If Nigeria is struggling against Minnows, we may not qualify when if we don't step up our game and we are drawn with nations such as Algeria, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Cameroon, Ghana etc

I've noticed one thing in these qualifiers; all the favored teams got the result they needed to progress. Ghana, Cameroun, DRC, Egypt, Mali, Senegal, Morocco and Tunisia all of them won at home and Nigeria together with Algeria avoided defeat at home to progress. It looks like whoever setup these qualifiers had some insights on who'd play at home and what was needed to qualify.
Hehe that's interesting
Could have been pre planned
You may be right
Well, it has to do with you being seeded highest. I think even in the AFCON qualifiers, ranking played a role in how the groups were formed. That's how it just is, even in the champions league qualification, they call it coefficients.

Nigeria's goal is offside. Same way it happened to Spain against France when Mbappe scored.
Congratulations to them all the same.
@@TheSamwonders it isn't there was a deflection I think...nd before the pass osimhen was onside
Look up the rules before commenting, the ball came off the Cape Verde player, so based on rule, not offside.
You don't know football
Thess people actually don't know the rules of football. It was a backpass from the cape verdan defender that was intercepted by Osimhen and not a direct cross from Simon.
It was not even close to being offside. Osihmen received the ball from an opposition defender. If you watched the game between Nigeria and south Africa at the last nations cup, Nigeria conceded from a similar situation. Ighalo headed the ball towards an opponent who was suspected to be offside, but VAR saved the day as the goal was awarded.
Congratulations
The Lagos pitch is uneven and looks more like a ranch. Prez Buhari's herdsmen that are destroying farmlands across Nigeria should take their cows to the Teslim Balogun stadium, Lagos, while the Eagles should play future home games at Uyo's world class stadium. That is where the Eagles thrive
