Omg pressing the opening before turning the fabric right side out is going to change my life. Thank you!! ❤️
Your tutorials are excellent. You explain things in a simple way that is easily understood. Great job.
The more I watch you the better I love what you show. I am almost 71 years old and I have learned something new in every one of your tutorials. Thank you. Your the best.
Awesome video. I loved your tip about ironing in the opening. Great video
Great idea on ironing the opening before turning. The baskets are so nice.
This tutorial was great - you have such an upbeat attitude always during your videos - one of your strongest points - after your knowledge of course - ty
Adorable & easy & quick gift project.Thank you for sharing.
Vanessa, I am always looking for little projects that my 10 yr. old granddaughter and I can sew together. I bought her a sewing machine and when I go to visit her in MN I bring along fabric and simple ideas we can do together . I encourage her but don't let her get too frustrated, just let
Her get excited. I love it when she ask " nana ..can we sew" this is a perfect project for us like pillow cases, fabric boxes and catch all boxes. I just pick up the notions needed and away we go. Thanks
I love these. I gave them as gifts for Mothers Day.
What a cute idea!!! Thank you, Vanessa.
Like the Fabric baskets made a few for Easter as gifts with goodies love your personality
The video looks ..... really clear! Nice lighting .
Thank you. You make sewing so much easier. Whenever I'm looking for tutorial I look to you first. I'm always Satisfied by yours and confused by others. I'm so glad I found your tutorials.
You are so welcome!
I love the fabric baskets! I made one a while ago for a Christmas present with a set of four matching fabric coasters tucked inside of it. I didn't think to actually sew the corners down...LOL. I like your way much better! Anyhow, I just noticed your other little basket there with your wonder clips in, and now I have go back and watch that video! I'm pretty sure you did one on that. Thanks for the videos, I enjoy them soooo much! ~Liz~
Nice job on your tutorials!!! Love your ideas!
These make up so easy and quick. Adding a small clear candy bowl, filling with candy and wrapping in clear wrap for Christmas gifts.
I enjoyed making this basket.
I tried an alternative to the foam. Since I have a stack of funky foam sheets from another project I thought I would try them. I was using a block from a quilt I just finished and it was bigger then the sheets. However, I just sewed them together (zigzag) just like I would do with piecing batting. I used the same stitching length as suggested and it worked great. Thank you for your great tutorials. I have you on my youtube speed dial.
Cool, I found your fabric box and basket tute! Sweet!
Excellent tutorial. Thanks!
Great tutorial, thanks so much.
Another great tutorial! I love your ideas and you explain them so well.
Great tutorial! Thank you! I received one of these for a gift!
Don't know what the comments were about the volume. It was exactly the same as the other videos I have listened to. Loved the video. Easy to follow and understand. Thanks.
I learned alot of things from your videos thank you
I’m a late bloomer and am just getting into sewing & embroidery :) love your tutorials, I have my tv on behind my machine 😂
I made these baskets .
Lessons learnt - be more precise with measurements / nothing can’t be fixed and more importantly these baskets are forgiving haha
Love your videos they are great. Can't wait to make some of these boxes for Fathers day. My Dad and Hub by will love them. They won't loss stuff anymore. Hopefully HeHeHaHa

laalaa2989 A la orden, compatriota! xo
Gonna try it!
Well this is handy - been trying to figure out how to make a removable liner for a custom M:TG carry case, this works perfectly for that.
Vanessa this would be great made to fit a casserole dish inside for a nice addition to a festive table
Mark Mulder Love it! I'll try it for the holidays and summer picnics.

oh, it’s the best so far.
Great video!
Thank you!
thank u . amazing
You're the best.
Love these little baskets... thinking of making a house warming gift.. basket and coasters to go in the basket.... first ones I ever made , I used cardboard in the bottom of the basket... not good, couldn't wash them... these look great, convenient, useful..etc.
Trayne1837 I’d suggest to look for those flexible plastic cutting mats, they can be washed (just not on hot) hang or air dry.
I used some in a wallet I was making to hold my BC pill packs!
I Hope that helps..
very nice idea
love, love all these!!!
Cute project, I too love your mini iron pad, did you make it and if so please share that little Jem
That’s so cute girl I want one...I’m gonna make one. I hope it comes out nice...lol
I love your tutorials :)
Thanks
Just watched a video where they stitched out to the edge of the fabric at the opening where you turn outside in. When she turned the fabric the seam turned itself in to make it easier to finish the edge
Some people I’ve seen use two pins at either side of the opening so line marking isn’t necessary.
I really like these and recently saw someone post on a Disney Facebook Fish Extender cruise page and she had use plastic snaps with hers so the corners could allow it to lay flat then come together again, could you also do a video on making a fish extender as well and also how to put in those snaps
Cut your corners at a diagonal and that reduces bulk at those corners. Also, if you take two stitches at the corner diagonally, you will be a perfect point corner every single time.
Do you have a tutorial for the other basket on your table? I'd like to make one like that for the hundreds of sewing pins I have! I looked through your channel, but couldn't find it.
hola guapísima desde España. por favor me gustaría saber que medidas tiene la cesta pequeña donde tienes los clips que se ven en tu mesa gracias.
Nice
Are these machine or hand washable? I can’t wait to try this project! I really love your videos.
Did you make your little ironing board or have a tutorial as it's really handy for small projects!
I love your shows on youtub.
nice video
are there written instructions for this tutorial? Love this basket
Do you have a video on how to make your little iron pad you are using?
Where to buy the Pellon shape flex n foam???
Vanessa, If I wanted to make it bigger, would directions change?
Are these washer/dryer safe? I was thinking of using them for bread basket liners.
does the top stitch need to have a back stitch?? thanks sorry if question doesn't make sense. beginner here?
look for the basket to put wonder clips in
You are so clever Vanessa! Can this basket be made using cork?
Do you have a video of a half moon makeup pouch?
Is there something that I could substitute for the Flex Foam? Thanks. Pat Berne
Do I need to use quilting thread for this project or just all-purpose thread?
An all purpose polyester thread would be great for this. :)
Have u any overnight bags or still in hospital bags please
Is there a specific size of flex foam or are they all the same?
I like your little ironing board. Did you make it or buy it? I could really use something like that because I don't have room in my apt for an ironing board.
Has anyone made this valet catch all in leather?
Could you use fuse-able batting, instead of the flex foam?
lindalds Yes, but it won't hold it's shape as well.
TheCraftyGemini thanks!
