I've never seen a goalkeeper with as much legendary performances as Manuel Neuer , 2011 vs Man U and 2008 vs Porto , 2012 vs Real Madrid , 2014 vs Algeria , 2017 vs Real Madrid ( despite Bayern losing ) , 2020 vs Lyon and PSG and he single handedly won the Super Cup vs Sevilla and much much more , the best ever in my eyes.

It's hard to believe that a team that in the last years alone has produced or refined talents like Neuer, Özil, Draxler, Goretzka, Sané and many others is now struggling to keep its feet in the first league. Should Schalke have been able to keep all those players they could have been serious contenders for a lot of titles.

actually he's trying to stretch himself out as wide as possible for a crazy defense range. Yes it can be a weakness for sure, but in one-to-one situations like that it's the best way of defending.

Sowas habe ich mit vielen Mannschaften gemerkt. Die bauen sich auf, kommen dann sehr weit (wie CL-Halbfinale) und schaffen es dann nacher nicht, kontinuierlich weiter zu arbeiten. Andere Beispiele sind AS Monaco, Roma und Tottenham
