Sepp Maier, Oliver Kahn and Manuel Neuer, absolute beast's and legends for FC Bayern. Bayern do have this, they are very good with their goalkeepers over the year's. And these people have done so much for the country as well on international level won several trophies. These are stories that probably we will pass on the upcoming generation. It an absolute honour to have watched Neuer throughout. Oliver Kahn, I did not watch him play live expect for one match when he came to India for some friendly match. But I did watch the highlights and I have not at all watched Maier but then I have heard good things about that keeper as well from people ..

Man we always have absolute world class goal keeper. Convincing Manuel Neuer to join FC Bayern München was a world class transfer and changed the entire game...Kahn was a radical leader, was highly respected and incredible on the line and in his prime the best in the air.... His charisma was important. Enemy teams knew not to mess with Kahn.
Neuer is an entirely different goal keeper that combines charisma, incredible in the air and one of the best. What makes him world class is his modern synthesis of world class goal keeper and actually having Libero type qualities...the center backs know they can pass the ball even under pressure back to Neuer...and his long range passing qualities make him a weapon concerning counter attacks.
Manuel Neuer is the only goalkeeper that has the ability to close the hole that was left after Kahn retired...he also became an absolute legendary player presenting his style of playing his position.
I doubt we will have such luck again after he retires...I don't see anyone on the level of Kahn in his prime or Neuer right now...
as a chelsea fan when 2012 ucl final bayern dragged us till the penalty shootout is the most feared thing in football especially neuer was the goalkeeper.tbh i say neuer is one of the best goalkeeper of ALL TIME.

ich hab bayern wirklich noch nie gemocht, aber kahn...... dieser mensch war von klein auf mein sportliches idol. er hat mit seiner art meine ganze fußballzeit geprägt und diese art, für den erfolg bis über die grenze zu gehen, weil es nichts anderes als den sieg geben kann, hat meinen ganzen weg bis heute geprägt. für mich bis heute der mit abstand beste torwart der welt. keiner hatte so eine präsents auf dem platz wie kahn!

Fair to say that Germany has had its fair share of world class and exceptional goalkeepers, take these three and Ter Stegen, Immel, Illgner, Schumacher, Köpke and Lehmann they are or were all quality keepers (although Lehmann could make errors occasionally)

2001 war ich 12 Jahre alt und habe mir beinahe in die Hosen gepisst beim 11m schießen. Davor noch dieses Drama gegen ManU erlebt. Das waren Zeiten,als wäre es erst gestern gewesen wenn man dieses Video sieht. Ich bin froh das alles miterlebt zu haben,auch wenn mal die ein oder andere schlimme Niederlage dabei war wie 99 oder 2012. Auch schön, daran erinnert zu werden, dass Kommentatoren Emotion zeigen konnten!
Ich würde Kahn auf Platz 1 stellen da er ein fussballer war, der einen Willen hatte den so niemand hatte. Immer weiter und das hat sich oft ausgezahlt.
