- This video is the one I've been waiting for! Ever since I saw these Bride Zeta II's for sale, I knew they were the perfect seat for the S13 hatch build and I've been waiting to see them in the car.

You had me at period correct 😂
Period correct is the way!
You should definitely get the carbon piece that goes in between the taillights.
You know, I’m super torn on that! It’s common on JDM 180sx builds to paint match it like I have it and I’ve really been digging that look but I may pick up the Kevlar RPS13 piece to have on hand.
@@avengednick it looks beautiful as is also. I noticed that piece on the car that Tommy built.
Can't wait to see this thing flying down the highway. SO clean!!
I can’t wait to be rippin this thing!
i dont get why you arent getting more views. this is a brilliant build
That’s a great question, I ask myself that often 😂 But thank you very much, I appreciate the kind words!
That car belongs in a museum.
Amazing build.
Thank you!
Great progress, this car is looking better by the day!
By the way, your voice is playing only on the left channel.
Thank you, I’m so stoked on the progress! And thanks for the heads up, I must not have switched the audio from stereo to dual mono…
Looks good, although I never liked fixed back seats in a street car, and in time I bet you won't either lol. On a side note, you're taking a risk by getting Bride seats. They got a bad reputation in Australia ~10 years ago because Bride Japan failed to renew their trademark in Taiwan where their seats were being made and so the company making them stole the trademark (name, logo, everything) in Taiwan, cut their contract and started making low quality knockoffs using the same tooling.
There are tonnes of "authentic" fake Bride seats, so people started to favour Recaro and similar.
If you're a big guy same want to change to recliners, the period correct choice are Recaro SR3s. I had one once and it was nice, but I swapped to SR4s which are a tighter fit and hold better, but they foul my lats to an extent. Either way, it's a sweet build.
Thanks! And I’ve actually had fixed buckets in my Z for years and haven’t minded them. If it was my daily driver, absolutely not haha. And I believe that all occurred after the Zeta II so there’s no issue with fakes from this generation. That being said, I’ve bought my zeta III’s and IV’s new from reputable bride dealers to avoid that and I’m just too particular for used seats.
But if I ever get tired of the buckets in this car, the reclinable Recaro’s like the SR3 was my next choice
I prefer the ring for the cleaner look.
do those seat rails slide?
You can adjust them forward and backwards, but you have to do it while you’re out if the car
Am I just now noticing the voice channel is only on the left, or is that just this video? .... I vote black button head hardware, no trim ring... Thanks for another update!
Damn it, I must have forgot to adjust the audio from stereo to dual mono… I was in a bit of a rush to get the video out before a work trip. And appreciate the input! Apparently the horn actually goes on top of the ring, which makes it look but more complete so I’ll show you guys that once I fix it
No ring on the steering wheel, but better hardware would be a plus.
Appreciate the vote! I found out I installed the horn wrong, it’s supposed to go on top of the ring so that may make it look better.
I wish the audio came out of both my ears. Not sure why the video is like this. I LOVE THE CAR btw.
Thank you! And I figured out the audio issue, just a dumb oversight on my end in the editing process.
get some smaller allen head screws for the wheel and ditch the ring.
Turns out I had it installed wrong, it actually goes hub then horn and it fits much more secure that way. I fixed it in the most recent video and like it way more now that it's installed correctly.
This car has to go to the Sema or PRI show.
That’s one of my goals for this year, so trying to work a few angles to get it to SEMA!
dont you think you miss place those seat? by looking off your shoulder and head position, you need the taller seat you place at passenger side to be the driver side
The driver and passenger seat are the same seats with the same brackets and they’re mounted at the same height so not sure what you’re referring to?
@@avengednick looking from your thumbnail pic and also at 0:09 it looks like you have 2 different size... but anyway maybe just optical illussion :(
I hope you install LED bulbs all around and in the interior plus LED headlights.
Black hardware in place of the ring
Thanks for the input! A subscriber pointed out I put the horn in wrong, it’s supposed to go on top of the ring so I’m going to give that a shot and see how it looks.
