  • Building a project car certainly has it's challenging and my 1990 Nissan 240SX hatch build has been no different... As I moved on the the suspension restoration, I realized I was missing a few small parts and ran into some other delays.

      Thank you man, it’s a labor of love! And don’t be too hard on yourself, there’s a place for different levels of builds! Not too mention, builds like this can totally spiral in terms of time and money. And with that can come burnout from feeling like it’s never going to be done. Not saying I’m there with the S13 but just something to consider!
      I’ve been wrenching on my 350z this past week getting it ready to go drifting and it’s been a good reminder that there is a need for all sorts of build levels and that everything needs to be perfect. I install all my modifications on that car with the same meticulous nature, but truthfully, the fact of that car isn’t perfect makes it so easy to just enjoy it. Generally speaking, I’d say it’s all about finding a good balance!

    Nice build, a thru proven Nissan classic. I owned an original 1989, bought brand new...

    In addition to the nismo subframe bushings, I'd also recommend doing the nismo steering rack bushings, rear knuckle bushings, and engine/trans mounts. Just having everything match makes the car feel super tight and compliant.

    • @avengednick
      @avengednick  Před rokem +1

      I’ve got brand new poly bushings for the steering rack as part of the rebuild from Sparky Built and all the rear arms, with the exception of the LCA, are SPL with heim joints so it should be super tight and compliant!

Soo many projects.. it can get overwhelming i have 6 right now lol if you wana sell that fuel line for a deal lmk lol. Nice work this cars guna be a museum piece:)

I definitely feel you on the struggle of juggling multiple projects. And I was going to list the partial fuel line kit, shoot me a message on IG (@avengedmedia) and we can chat about a fair price. I'll hold of on listing it though

      Right? I think I need to see them behind the wheels to fully decide. Not sure how familiar you are with 90’s Nissans, so ignore me if you know this haha… But these are actually the largest OEM brakes that came on the Z32 and they’re quite an upgrade from the factory S13 brakes. Who knows though, maybe I’ll want to switch it up for more breaking power down the road.

    You can scotch bright the plastic, plastic adhesion , trim black and then it’s good to go, no need to get a new one ( I’m certified painter )
