THE DOMINO EFFECT part 2 LOSS [FULL Comedy Standup Special - ALI SIDDIQ]

- Following the success of Ali’s last special THE DOMINO EFFECT (over 10 million views in the first year) comes the sequel “THE DOMINO EFFECT 2: LOSS”. Ali tells the traumatic stories of his adolescence that ultimately lead to him going to prison for 6 years.
The NY Times wrote: “In his eye-opening "The Domino Effect 2: Loss," Ali Siddiq, a revelation of a performer, adopts a different approach. Instead of self-aware jokes, he leans into stories that are easy to get lost in, especially with his jaunty, magnetic delivery. Looking back on his childhood, he describes how he became a drug dealer and lost a girlfriend, a sister and eventually his freedom. He tells the story of his arrest with vivid, suspenseful detail, but also sadness at the cascading devastation of loss. It's the rare comedy about grief that takes the advice, "Show, don't tell."”

Im watching it now...
Yo I straight bawled.
Omg…absolutely loved your vulnerability about your little sister…I wish I could just be there for you…just sitting there not saying anything❤❤❤😢😊😊
❤️💯❤️
In the HISTORY OF COMEDY, there's NEVER been a comedian to transparently grieve on stage & pull the set back together like this! That was pure emotion/intelligence. Best wishes to Ali, he's 1 of 1!
Never!
Going straight into Pops the chef was brilliant. I needed reminding what I was watching.
Glad I wasn't part of the taping, makeup would have been messed up
That’s facts
Just finished watching with my husband. We are huuuuge Ali fans. Like soo many other ppl, I have seen EVERYTHING of his that's on the internet.
I have been a fan of his comedic genius and masterful storytelling.
But tonight??
...took me ( and i know soooo many other ppl) on a journey I never knew a COMEDIAN could take me on. He shared his heart and allowed us all to have a small glimpse into his soul.
THEN! Brought us baaaack to laughter without blinking.
Soo excited for his career. NETFLIX and beyond. Blessings to u brother. You inspire many.
This isn’t just stand-up comedy. This is professional story-telling.
The realism, it's 1 mic 1 nighy
The realism, it's 1 mic 1 night
That's what makes his Comdey Special 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
🎯
Exactly 💯 - Straight outta H-Town 👏🏾❣️👏🏾👏🏾❣️👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👊🏾‼️
Netflix dropped the ball on this one, this was incredible
I agree 💙
And did cause they gotta really pay him he do talk shows and everything he up
And they gave Monique and Katt Williams the money to do the most unfunny comedy specials in history 😂
It's ok...he put this out himself on CZcams. He getting all the cash!
They really did… this is as any special ever
Only a genius can take an audience down to complete sorrow while crying and bring them back up to laughter. The ending was very poetic. Beautifully told story. Well done, Ali.
I would like to contribute to this session Ali. Please tell us how to donate. You really deserve it for this masterpiece.
Done! Thank you for your work!

When are you coming to Seattle?!?!?!
I support this man, too funny no matter what 😂😂😂
You have NOOO IDEA!!! Idk why when you goin thru shit, you think you're the only one goin thru shit. Again. You have touched on my life more than once. Ion like it, but I love it. Keep goin. ❤❤❤❤ I would love to have a cup of coffee with you.
The fact he gives us these remarkable specials for free is beyond words. Thank you Ali!!
Definitely booked my ticket to see him when he comes to my city :)
Right! :) I just did a special thanks :) I’m going to come back and do more when I get paid on Friday!
He getting it from utube fasho
I’ve been to a special. It was great. Thanks 🙏🏾
Yeah for IAM thrown a few dollars and/or Buy MY ppl some ticcets if ya go to Dallas!! #WEHUSSLE #KaliefBrowder
He was destined for greatness. You can tell by how he carried himself with his money, and how he looked out for his people in his younger years. where he’s at right now you can tell he was born a natural leader, even though he had some hangups, he always was ahead of his time as you can see. Where he is right now is on top and that’s why he was even in his teens he was on top
The fact that halfway through this I’m wondering how the hell this isn’t on Netflix is insane! This for free? Man what? I’m grateful.
I just posted a similar comment.
I can't even call you a "comedian". That term does not do you or your craft justice. You are a FIRST CLASS humorist and a MASTER storyteller. It was indeed an pleasure and honor to watch this, and I just felt compelled to bless you. Thank you, Mr. Siddiq.
Thank you
@@AliSiddiqComedy you deserve it brother. I'm proud of you man. God bless you and your family.
Man say I've cried before from laughing so hard..... But I've never ever CRIED FOR A COMEDIANS ACT ON STAGE!!! Like you said I don't even feel comfortable calling HIM a comedian HE'S A GURU!!! TO MAKE YOU TEAR UP FROM THE STORY OF HIS LIL SISTER TO LAUGHING FOR THE COOK......... MASTERPIECE MASTERY OF THE STAGE
@@AliSiddiqComedyhow can I support this work? Can’t find the link.
I don’t care how many times I watch this I still cry! You’re the best Ali! I knew you were gonna thrive as a comedian back during the Jus Joking days and to the Improv! ❤❤❤
There is no comedian, in the world today, who is barring their soul more than Ali Siddiq. This might be the most important comedy special ever. Before this, comedy made me laugh, feel silly, enjoy the extreme. But this changed me as a person and I'm SO grateful for his openness and honesty. You've got another fan for life. Thank you so much.
Wow $100 ?! You MEANT DAT SHIT! Lol😂

I can’t wait to see Ali Siddiq in person. This took me way back to my hood in the early 90’s. Master of storytelling ❤️
thank you!
Give this man an Emmy and a Netflix special...This performance is as real as it gets
I'm trying to figure out why he hasn't had a Netflix special. They been sleeping on him for years! Mexican got boots should have landed him as a top teir comedian! He is absolutely genuine and funny!
@@c.williams7269 I’m trying to figure out why everyone thinks Netflix is the goal of all these comedians. Who gives a shit about Netflix?
This wasn’t a performance, it’s the man’s life.
Actually let’s as a unit of supporters give him the likes, subscribes & tips to do the best we can so he can have his own “Netflix”
@@KinkyXKnotti Agreed my friend. I gave a small tip, whatever I could but if we all chip in a few bucks, he can continue to do his art freely and without the censorship of netflix
I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a comedy special that has left me speechless. I don’t think there’s anything I could say that adequately captures what kind of masterpiece this is.
Big facts.
Richard Pryor but this is better by far
Greatest master piece of my time 💪
He is definitely in his own lane!
I agree absolutely dope 🔥
Sorry for your lost bro. I lost my mom when I was young, and I was on that same time with ANYONE.That hit home.
His storytelling ability is awesomely impressive and truly unmatched.
This guy is a huge talent. He became one of my favorite comedians ever after hearing him just kicking it around on a podcast. Hadn't even seen a show yet. Then I watched everything he ever put on video. I think he will become one of the all time greats in comedy.
I saw him at the Improv in Houston back in 2018. Had no idea who I was seeing. Was invited by a friend. It was one of the best shows I've ever seen! He hung out after and talked to his fans, too. He's obviously hilarious, but he's also a real cool dude on top of being one of the best storytellers in the business.
This was very intense and I loved every moment of it. The segway between talking about his sister into talking about the chef was flawless.
He shot up to my favorite over the last few years and I had the honor of seeing him in person in Baltimore last year or 2 years ago and it solidified him as the top guy to me in story telling.
If he isn't the next chappelle, it will be a disservice to comedy
Best storytelling hands down in my book!!
I can't believe I just cried watching a stand-up special. This was a painfully beautiful story.
I know right!!
He is going to be great
Me to and still watch it every other day 😂😢😮❤
just lost my grandmother so the part about seeing a weak loved one pass ripped me apart... the fact that he was able to make me laugh at all after that is a miracle. thank you, Ali
The first comedy act that I laughed and cried a lil bit.. and destroyed my phone.. it was cracked up bad and a couple tears got in it.. it sizzles and the screen never worked again.. it was worth it.. that phone was raggedy af any damn way. The show deserves to be seen on a big screen. Thanks Ali for the show!!! And my condolences for baby girl my guy @AliSaddiqComedy
Never in my life have I cried while watching a stand-up comedy special. This man has to be one of the greatest storytellers of our time. He literally broke down crying in the middle of the set, and cracked more jokes to bring it back together. I wish him nothing but success.
I feel you on that --- he shooooo did
Me too…but I was happy that his girl ain’t die…that is where I thought it was heading…whew…I woulda been wrecked.
My thoughts exactly, the man deserves praise and definitely respect

Say that he is laugh therapy
I just said the same thing 5 mins ago watching this SPECIAL. Not the exact words but same energy.
Facts
I’ve never wept while listening to a comedy special but after losing my mom recently the story you told about your baby sister hit so close to home. I stood in my kitchen and openly wept. It’s so raw to see a man actively grieving on stage, it took this to a whole new level for me. I’ve watched “The Domino Effect 1, 2, & 3” repeatedly! And can’t wait for number 4 on Sunday! Respect and love from a fellow Texan. ❤
Thank you Ali. You brought relief and release to my own grief. Please don’t ever stop. Can’t wait to work with you one day. May God let it come to pass and may he bless you and keep you. All love
thank you!
Holy shit, watching you tell that story about your sister broke me man! Sitting here at home by myself, 39 year old grown ass man, crying like a baby with you. Thank you for sharing your story!
Tore my heart out
It's like he never grieved her fully and this sort of have him the catharsis he needed.
Same, I shed a tear my first time watching this. Lost my little brother to sickle cell leukemia. He was only 4 man.
Ali may still be grieving. I don't know if people ever get over stuff like this. That story caught me off guard, but it's kinda healing now.
I’ve watched it twice and cried the same way the second time too
So close to fast forwarding bc im crying too. Hard to watch. Sorry for you man
Brotha Siddiq, if you don't win an Emmy or some other award for this brilliant storytelling, something is wrong with the universe. Thank you for sharing your pain, your joy, your humanity. Much love.
THANK YOU!!!

Could hear a pen drop! His story telling is so authentic and moving!
As a kid growing up i remember my uncles telling stories like this. I remember my dad telling stories like this (when he was there) this man Ali makes me feel like hes my family with how relatable and transparent he is. MUCH RESPECT AND THANK YOU
Nahh this wasn’t just a comedy performance. THIS WAS A MASTERPIECE ‼️😅
I can’t remember the last time I sat still, for 90 minutes, to watch standup comedy. And I can’t wait to do it again!!!

All educators are not in the classroom, all healers are not in the doctors office, and all therapists don't have couches and offices. Thank you for all that you are doing Mr. Ali!
This is real , some of the best people that we can get advice from draw from their own personal experience and use that to try to direct us on a better path, or even just to make us laugh and see the world a little brighter than before ❤️
Man. I didn't expect to have tears well up in my eyes like that! This comedy special was way more than comedy. It was an honest look into your life. It was raw, real and intimate. You are a great story teller. Keep up the hard work.
thank you!
I saw him live and he's just as smooth with his story telling and delivery as he is on these CZcams videos! I can listen to him on repeat and still laugh like it's the very first time I heard his stand up!
This is one of the most profound, funny, heart breaking, and transparent works of art I have ever watched. To call it a stand up special would be a disservice. Ali Siddiq is one of the greatest storytellers of all time.

They way he transitioned from Ashley to Pops in a Speedo, is pure genius! I’ve never cried and laughed soo fast in my life. I’m a fan for life!
Facts I was wondering how was he going to climb out of that darkness and finish the set ...pure genius
The emotional power, and understanding of people it takes to do that is God like. Truly inspirational 🖤
Ditto❣️🫡💯
This is by FAR the best "stand up" special I've seen in a long time. I put stand up in quotations cause that term don't even come close to categorizing what I just watched. I don't think I've ever been taken on a ride like that by any comedian ever. This man is more than just a comic. The way he genuinely mourned and grieved over the loss of a loved one on a stage, made me completely forget what I was watching. Almost had me tearing up, until he hit us with Pops cookin dope in a speedo. Brought it straight back to laughter. Absolutely masterful my guy 💯🙌👌
I watch this special several times a WEEK and everytime it gets to the part about his sister I break down, only to laugh right he when talks about the cook house. This is raw. Nothing I've every watched has done this to me. Its rare, raw, honest emotion. You feel it. Amazing. Also can you stop in Charlotte lol
This is more than comedy. This is the most humanistic storytelling I’ve ever seen. I cried with him, I laughed with him, I got ducktaped with him, I got hit by that rifle with him and I never stopped rooting for Ali. What a guy!
ALI BOMA YE!
I have never seen anything like this as well .. and I thought Dave Chapelle was the best storyteller!
Absolutely bro it felt like a movie for sure!! Great comment!
" L E G EN D "...
Can’t lie, I broke down when he did, and then laughed when he laughed. This is more than just jokes and storytelling, you can feel and visualize everything he went through. Don’t ever stop telling your stories, peace be unto you Brother.
I swear you can visualize the entire story 😂
Eyes watering as I type this.
I thought it was just me
😢Right, Had me in tears then laughing
Yes, so did I. My heart hurt for him as he wept, feeling the pain! I visualized all the places and things he talked he talked about. He pulls you inside the story as best friends talking about ole times. You see, he has kept humbleness through his adventures 👏 🔥
I laughed, I screamed, I cried… this right here… is REAL Art. Definitely the greatest. No gimmicks, just authentic talent. This is comedy!
The part about his lil sister had me tearing up man. I got 2 lil sisters, they my whole heart, I can't even imagine that typa pain
Yo can I just say this man gave us multiple comedy specials free of charge that are some of the best comedy specials out there. Dude killing it
Seriously. The absolute best!!!!
U not lying...
True, better than 99% on Netflix
The fact that he made the decision to talk that honestly about his sister and cry on stage is true stand up comedy. Show your pain then show us where the comedy comes from.
Was totally in tears at that part... then spit my water out when he brought up the cook with the speedo on
How you brought the crowd back together was phenomenal, I've never seen anything like this
No BS that's the best comedy special I've watched in a while. Authentic and real!
The way he emotionally broke down and exposed himself over his sister….and then was able to flip right back to making ppl laugh WAS PURE COMEDIC STORYTELLING GOLD❤️🔥
Mufuckin genius an I don't say that shit often hell at all jus seemed like the word for Mr Ali
Whew! I wasn’t ready, Ali!! I was working and listening to you and I just had to stop and pray for you, my brother. Lord. I am so sorry for your loss. That pain hit hard. It made me face my grief about losing my mama.
Maaaaaaaaaannnnn😂😂. I cannot!! Not Pops in the speedos cooking. You have me crying and laughing at the same time. Prayers of continued peace and comfort to you and your family.
I cried with him. Then I got mad with him. He need to pursue acting. The way he conjured up those emotions and brought us along is next level.
Anytime i hear him say "Say my man... Whatcho name is?" I'm already laughing 😂

This man is the closest thing to Dave Chapelle we have ever seen.
His storytelling, timing, ability to control the audience, is on Dave level.
Agreed
In order, my favorite comedians, Dave , Bill Burr, and Ali Sadiq. So glad I saw him on Joe Rogan years ago. Otherwise I never would have known who he was, a comedian, a felon, a fellow Houstonian, an amazing storyteller, And if he watches interviews that he has with Rogan and some of the other podcasters out there he has some of the most intelligent ideas on how to solve society's problems such as homelessness. His ideas aren't always perfect, but I haven't heard any senator or representative or president or mayor or governor or my dad or any other fucker come up with any other better ideas. He's not only funny he's extremely intelligent and wellspoken. The way this man tells stories I can close my eyes and I feel like I'm watching a movie.... Or better yet I feel like I'm in the movie with him
You are correct...
I was thinking the same thing

Not many comedians at all, can hold a crowd like this. This is chappelle level of crowd control… doesn’t have to rush to the next joke can actually have the room silent (something most comedians are afraid of)

One of the most beautifully human performances I've ever seen. Siddiq is so much more than a comedian, he's a natural born leader.
Hopefully a role model for young men too. Parents, don't overlook this man!
The thing about grief is you don't lose someone one day, you lose them everyday. Everyday you gotta wake up and remember they're gone. Doesn't matter how many years pass, you wake up and they're still not there. Ali is an amazing storyteller and it's a great thing to share joy but it's an even greater thing to share pain. I said it once, and I'll say it again. Ali Siddiq is one of the greatest comedic storytellers of our time. Amazing stuff, sir.
The fact he can speak about his trauma and make his audience enjoy it is priceless. We forget this man lived a life before comedy. Thank you Ali
What an amazing man. Awesome delivery. This man story should be made into a movie, it has so many emotions beginning and ending with a laughter. Wishing him lots of continued success. I hope to see him some day in NYC.
I watched this twice!!!!Laughing like crazy then crying like crazy! GOD BLESS ASHLEY! Sir, you will be with your beloved Ashley one day!!!!
This dude took me through his teenage life in two specials without me realizing he was breaking it down year by year by year and every year was a piece of the puzzle…mashallah .. genius
the way Ali broke the room down to the point of absolute silence and then weaved it back together with a big laugh was masterful. *Ali is so special.* definitely making the effort to see him when he’s back home in Houston.
Wow! This man the realest person I've ever seen on stage. Opened his soul with wit to touch hearts. Bless this man. Respect all the way from Senegal
Turning a young man’s troubled youth into a positive career in comedy is legendary!…congrats Ali!
THIS is what they mean when they say stand-up comedy is an artform. Amazing performance.
