  • In this video i discuss why people who suffer from high BP have very variable readings and also why sometimes people with high blood pressure are told that they are dizzy because they have low blood pressure. If you would like to speak with me please contact me on www.yorkcardiology.co.uk or yorkcardiology@gmail.com (which is also my Facebook id)

I had been having morning blood pressure trend around 144/90 and 136/85 in the evening. At medical offices it would be in the range of 150/90. So, I a adopted an overweight Weimaranner dog and began walking 3 to 6 miles every day, as well as a low carbohydrate diet. After 3 weeks, morning blood pressure 123/74 and evening 116/72. Amazing how quickly and dramatically its gone down. I will be forest walking daily from now on.

I just started BP med in May and I think I worry too much about everything. What to eat/drink and what NOT to while also taking the BP med. Sodium, carbs, beets, potassium, magnesium, what vitamins. You have really helped me with your wonderful videos. Thank you so much I feel so much more informed. We lost our dog who looked just like yours and would love another but at 74 and husband 75 feel it’s too late for us now. Again thank you we’ve just told our cardiac nurse about you how marvellous you are. 🙏😊

      Hi There!
I am your age as well and can’t live without a furry companion, so my husband and I decided to adopt a senior dog that many don’t want. It was so wonderful for both of us. We can just tell that our dog is so happy and grateful that we choose to give him a home to cross over with people that love him. He has brought such joy.
Please consider helping our senior loving animals ❤️

Excellent video on high blood pressure. I was concerned about my blood pressure but this video has put me at ease. I LOVED how you brought
Bluebell on your video at the end. It is true a pet can be very therapeutic. I dog sit my daughter's two purebred yorkies and they do warm and calm my heart and put me in a good mood. Infact, I am considered their Nanna.

I have been having a lot of stress lately and last time when I went to my cardiologist, my bp was sky high. He wants to do an angiogram on me. I got home, talked to my daughter and decided against it. Later in the day, after I had time to rest a little, my bp went back to normal. So emailed my doctor to tell him I'll take a pass on the angiogram for now, and told him my bp is fine now, then I asked him when I should go back to see him again. He said 6 months! So I guess he doesn't think my elevated bp is that serious. My daughter also said I should stop taking my bp one after another because the anxiety would increase my bp. I think I need to learn to relax more.
