Wow, you did a good job filming with a6700. Never got on camera once I did see the reflection in your eye on a segments. THANKS.
🤣🤣🤣
We need Vivian perspective of this setup maybe 🤔
This is so coooooolll! Thanks for the behind the scenes look. Enjoy all the toys!
Thank you! Will do!
You both are the BEST BEST BEST entertainment to learn from!!! thank you for all you share! AMAZING!!! Hope to hear more from you on the ZV -E1!!
I love how your setups are organized and streamlined in tiny space!👍👍
love recognising the spots like meiji jingu and minatomirai despite having only been there like a noon each, jp has so many wonderful landmarks to identify the spots.
The page-turner custom footpad setup is such a wild twist, love that
Took me forever to find a good one that actually functions as a keyboard with programmable macros! Otherwise the iPhone won't register the key inputs!
Ahh, been waiting for this one for a while!
Great job on the video folks! Thanks for making it
Been waiting for an updated one of these travel gear videos, very much appreciated. I’d consider the sigma 100-400mm contemporary lens love that thing and light weight
I've been loving the zv-e1 much more than I thought I would (coming from a7siii). The form factor, dynamic stab, quick switch between video/stills with one hand have been super nice ergonomically. I pair it with the (recently discontinued?) the sony 10-18mm F4 OSS for FF super wide and stable shots for family vlogs/selfies. It's my fav lens so far for the zv-e1 (coming from 14mm 1.8 too and the 11mm 1.8). I'd either use the 14mm 1.8 for indoor, or I'd just shoot 12800 ISO straight up (with auto-shutter) to compensate for the F4 in video.
Love the editing. Great Video
Jason. Really impressed with how you can travel with all the gear! What size checked in luggage are you using? The medium at 21 or large at 24 inches?
Another great video; love seeing you guys in action! Can Vivienne pleeeeease share how her Peak Design Zip has held up, specifically because she has the Bone colorway? She's the only person I've seen (and I've done EXTENSIVE research!) who actually *uses* her bag; I think many people would be interested in how realistic it is to keep clean.
The Zhiyun compact lights are really amazing
Most people would abuse the words GAME CHANGER but these ZY lights are TRULY game changer!!
Nice, enjoying your dives into travel gear. I've got to checkout your other travel vids just in case, but I was wondering how heavy your loadout for your carry on + (presumably) check in is? Planning to make my own trip out there soon.
I should probably weigh it but the carry on is fairly heavy! We double check the airlines carry-on limit as well. So far only Air France has a much stricter carry on limit VS others.
Jason, I need your Japan guide. Traveling from Tokyo to Osaka in September for the firet time :D
👍👍
Travel Location challenge. Would love for you someday to hike and Vlog the Masungi GeoReserve in the Philippines. Two hours east of Manila. It will be a challenge. You will hike for 5 hours up and down limestone formations, across hanging bridges, climbing up and down multiple nets, standing on a spiderweb, going inside caves....while staying relatively quiet during the hike. This is an absolutely exhausting hike, yet , in a mountain sanctuary. Take up the challenge someday.
Hey Jason, do you set you ISO in run-and-gun (well, walk and talk)? Would love to see a behind the scenes of you shooting the content for a video like this, specifically the camera setup and why you choose whatever settings you do in each scene or location. Or maybe I can come just watch ya! Always good stuff.
Typically we just do AutoISO. I have a button that locks the ISO once we frame up. I show this in my Focus Guide and my Camera Setup guides!
@@JasonVong Thanks Jason.
With dynamic stabilisation I find I can get away without a gimbal in most cases, a gimbal is just such a pain to bring
My man👍🏻 what little zoom lens would you suggest for zve1? Tamron 20-40 or sigma 18-50? Or smth else? Any quality loss using 18-50?
I am tempted to get that Zeiss Batis Apo Sonnar 135mm 2.8 Lens, right now I can get a new for US $1029, it is fairly compact and light and it have image stabilizer. I do have the Sony 135mm 1.8 GM and the Voigtländer Macro APO-Lanthar 110mm 2.5, so the Zeiss Lens will be a little bit overkill to get...😄
The Samyang 135 1.8 is great too. It's incredibly sharp
@@RiccardoGabarriniKazeatari Not a Lens for me.
So do you guys have 2 Sony A7IV/s? Or do you guys just pop the one that Vivian uses on the b roll station? great video!!
Ah yeah that's a lil confusing! We have an a1 and a7 IV which we use interchangeably!
Love how you did not tell us everything is a G Master lens. I love that you saved some money and still make amazing videos.
GM is nice! but we always go for the lightest gear possible!
@JasonVong I have to agree. That is why the batis 85mm is so great.
What are you using to attach your phone on top of your camera ?
How's the a6700? Can't wait to see the video tomorrow!
idk what you're talking about 😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏
Question if, if you have to how lite will you go for cam set up? Me I just got FeiyuTech pocket 3 ,a 25-600 Sony rx10 mark iv, a Insta360 rs 360 1in, all fit in one backpack with shoulder mounts and one mono pod that I use backpack hold monopod up instead using a try pod with 2 TELESIN Flexible Mount Clamp Selfie Stick monkey tail for FeiyuTech and Insta360. And I have a SNAP Mount to mount on cars or walls on cruise ship or to mount on my hat as a head mount.. all that in single back pack with my iPad and 8t of sdds to carry on, no luggage that just for my clothing..
Why 17mm f4 over the Samyang 18mm f2.8? The Samyang is lighter and brighter.
I hope to meet you in Morocco 🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦 bro
Omg that tripod is $$$$
This bag is almost better than BIg Trouble in Little China. Almost.
What software are you using on the teleprompter?
Parrot!
Really want you to make wedding video using SONY ZVE1
Cool setup, how long are you two staying there?
hehehe forever just kidding
@@JasonVong nice
Actually that music pedal idea is great! I’m constantly reaching for my remote which I leave on my lap so it looks like I’m touching my crotch 🫠🫠🫠
HAHAHA! I definitely had to do the same thing before so it looked strange that I am talking for so long but one arm is consistently down
How about action camera?
No Leica Q2/Q3 for street?
Leica Q2 is V's! We should probably do a segment focusing on her gear!
No green screen. How are you getting such a clean video cut out?
a7cii now over a7iv?
rs3mini or m3s?
ZV-E1 with prime lens, 1kg~ is rs3mini or m3s better given they are now the same price
Damn short ass video and now we gotta wait another 3 weeks for another one 😪
or maybe wait another 2 days 😏
