Hey Jason. Question about the 4k60p in the A7CR. You mentioned it cannot be used in crop mode. What happens when you use an APS-C lens in 4k60p?

I have one more tip for you, using a tripod take at least 10-15 pictures of the same composition ( each picture is taken every 10 or 15 seconds apart, no ND filter needed, just fix white balance). Then using photoshop you can combine them using the average function, it will remove the people unless the place was as crowded as a taylor swift concert. This method is great for places like the eiffel tower or landmarks that are usually crowded during the day

Samyang 85 mm F/1.4 AF version 1 aspherical is amazing, very close to the Sony GM for a third of the price.

@AlpControl I agree on the 85 mm. I personnaly use 3 prime lenses For landscape : A wide angle needs to be sharp, no flare, nice sunstar, no subject separation needed. Tamron 24 mm F/2.8 is the perfect budget lens. Sony 20 mm F/1.8 G or 14 mm F/1.4 GM is needed only if focus on astrophotography (wider aperture) or architecture (wider angle and less distorsion). For portrait : A king's bokeh is needed for professionnal looking photos. Samyang 85 mm F/1.4 AF version 1 aspherical is amazing, very close to the Sony GM for a third of the price. For general purpose each time I take only one litle lens with me : Samyang 45 mm F/1.8 is incredibly light and versatile, even closer to human eye focal than a 50 mm, great bokeh.

Hope Sony will release APS-C G lenses similar to the 15mm f1.4 - would kill for a 27mm f1.4 G and a 60mm f1.4 G. Might give the Sigma 16, 30 and 56 f1.4 trio a run for the money 😊

Bro while recording video, i do switch between the lenses.. But on that time a small stutter will happen all the tym. Is this common or an issue?? Anybody did experienced the same??

Thanks for the video. I’m no longer Fuji guy so my small bag is now based on Sony A7RC, or A7CII, or even a A6700 with a single lens. Still found the video interesting. I’m also not a vlogger so some items you include are just not for me but still enjoyable. Take care.

Sounds to me as though you bought the original adapter lens. The Mk II versions don’t suffer from the same image degradation. You should be able to pick the Mk II versions for under $300, too.

If this is your first sony and you need a charger remember it does not come with one you'll need to drop another 90$ for a wall charger and they do not provide a usb cable either.. so add about 100$ to the price.

And never forget - 100% of the pictures you miss are those that you did not take. And the most useless camera on the market today - mirrorless or not- is the one you left at home.

can anybody help me? do you know why iphones will create 2 pics? i take 1 photo but when i go the gallery there are now 2 pics.. 1 is how i originally took it and 1 is zoomed out (did not take it this way.. only took 1 zoomed in pic). it's driving me crazy!

Another solution to having too much gear with you is just to be broke, so you cant afford much gear 😂

I use the 20mm f2.8, 50mm f1.8 and 55-210 on my A6000.

Bro just an fyi, you can use a USB-C cable from the camera directly to the iphone 15 pro to import photos, you don't even need the SD card adapter.

Now I feel that I am very Lucky to see mount fuji 🗻 without the clouds on my very first visit there
