The Iran-backed Houthis of Yemen have declared war on Israel, opening yet another front in the ongoing conflict between the Jewish state and Palestine militant group Hamas. In Ep 1342 of Cut the Clutter, Editor-in-Chief Shekhar Gupta talks about the Houthis’ attempted missile strikes on Israel, what they reveal about geopolitical alignments in West Asia, and the challenges of asymmetrical warfare currently at play amid the Israel-Hamas war.

A Significant development after two world wars is the increase in asymmetric warfare across the world. This is due to the outcome of Conventional War is not in favour of all the belligerents involved the conflict. Whereas unconventional tactics yields tangible outcome. Major conflicts has seen the side using asymmetric tactics achieving their objectives by the end of the conflict over a military employing Conventional tactics.

India will not invade Bangladesh i am sure. But in modern day missiles are dangerous, any country can attack from far away. We are also concerned about problems in Myanmar. Bangladesh doesn’t have a modern missile defence system. Our anti-Arial warfare capacity is poor.
Bangladesh needs to buy drones, multirole aircraft, attack helicopters and anti aircraft and anti-missile system. Some long range anti Arial defence system for Navy as if we can stop missile attack from bay of Bengal.
Due to the growing power of the Myanmar military and the Indo-Pacific polarisation, Bangladesh may face future threats.
We badly need the Indian bramos defence system but the Indian government is not willing to sell that. So Bangladesh may take weapons from Turkey, Iran & China.

British created pakistan with India and we said okay to it. British created israel and gaza strip and they should be okay with it even if they don't like it.
In war declared by middle east countries with israel ... Israeli won the war and taken some part of the area which they won. Although they given back most of the area. But you can't expect everyone to be good as India to give back the area which they won in war. If you talk about history then islam is new religion the land was their land in ancient history. So fighting on who were the old living religion also become baseless as jews are the old in all abrahmic religion.
So israel doing things can be called as bad tactics but hamas is terrorist group and they have done terrorist attacks not tactics.

China’s mode of accumulation grows by commercial/industrial activity rather than military expansion; Despite the commercial nature of these Chinese port connections, either by potential dual-use or by their bearing upon China’s growth, they influence its clout.
While Chinese military force sits in Djibouti, this military base acts as an early warning system regarding US activity near the Bab al-Mandeb.

Acharya ji, you should debate with Zakir Naik .. he claims openly and unabashedly that he's the most prominent speaker on religions.. he claims to have read and understood all major religions ..
It'd be wonderful to see you have intellectual debate with him, although you'll have to, temporarily, condescend urself to his low intelligence level.

    23.12-29).

@njnihal3049 of course there are differences like different sects of ppl from Islam and Christianity kill other sects where as different caste ppl don't kill each other merely for differences in religious practices.
What ever it is Hinduism has room for reform where as Abrahamic religions still follow archaic practices from medieval period

In the mist of a regional war between the east and the west, India stands in the wrong side and historically, India making a great mistake if it takes Israel side. Great Iran Empire is back and defending its western lands.
