An informative video.... the missile is but a delivery system for the warheads. It looks like the bigger achievement is the miniaturisation of the warheads to carry a substantial nuclear payload on the same missile which initially could carry only one warhead. I would like to know more about this (miniaturised warhead) and how did India achieve it without any nuclear testing since Pokhran 2 in '98? Are we virtually testing the designs and fallout of these warheads on a super-duper computer or are we being helped by our friends in the western world (in some quid pro quo deal)? Looking at the nose of this missile it appears that it may carry three to five warheads, just a wild guess.

    # Vajpayee_Abdul Kalam Garlu, then 35 years old
This hero was given a target 25 years ago.
"India should make MIRV technology missile by your hands, we may not be there by then."
MIRV technology is an advanced missile technology that only 5 countries have.
India has become the 6th country in history to achieve this feat today under Modiji.
Between 2004-14, the project was delayed due to lack of proper allocation of funds and several DRDO, ISRO and atomic scientists were killed.
India successfully completed the MIRV Agni-5 project under the supervision of Dr. Tessy Thomas (60).

Do we have credible deterence against our enemies at other end of MIRV technological spectrum? What happens if thousands of low cost low flying under the radar wooden or cardboard drones armed with dirty and not so dirty radioactive material are launched against us? Is it correct to assume that better technology will always prevail?

MIRV is not a new technology, it is in South Asia. The introduction of the MIRV system by Pakistan back in 2017 was apparently in response to India`s persistent conventional and nuclear build-ups and its aggressive policies and military posture, which are driving the region toward greater instability

Payload can be anything nuclear is optional so missiles can be used for other roles also... Aircraft carriers are worth being targeted for such expensive missiles.... control on water will destroy their trade and power supply

China’s hypersonic arsenal includes the DF-17, a medium-range ballistic missile with a hypersonic glide vehicle that has a range of 1,600 kilometers.'

Gupta ji should stick to such non-domestic-politics topics. He does well covering such topics, like Indian defense but too biased against BJP & Modi to be objective. WRONG - No, 90% of Russian Missiles have been intercepted by Ukraine -- ONLY as Per Ukraine propaganda. Its the other way round, most of these missiles get through.
