PREMOS pellets - Superior material for bedding

Whether cow, horse or chicken - Res Fiechter is enthusiastic about the usage of PREMOS pellets for bedding and so are his customers.
Res Fiechter is the first contractor in Switzerland who runs a Premos pellet press from KRONE.
The Premos 5000 pelletize dry material directly in the field from the swath or in stationary operation with the help of a bale feeder into 16 mm thick pellets.
Dairy farmer Simon Zeisler uses the pellets as bedding material in the cubicles and is enthusiastic about the quality - his workload has also been reduced.
In Res Fiechter's own chicken farm, the needed material is reduced measurable in comparison to the former used wood chips. Another benefit: The pellets do not stick together and the chickens are more pawing with the pellets in the barn and are more busy, which is very beneficial for animal welfare. The egg quality has also increased due to dust minimization.
In the horse stable, the pellets impress with their high absorption capacity in addition to less work.
And even in the manure, the advantages of the PREMOS pellet are evident; once the pellets have dissolved, the straw is shorter than that of chopped straw, making the manure more flowable. So there are no problems when applying with a drag hose or shoe.
