Z28's were cool, and even the Smokey Trans Am was cool, but my favorite year for Camero or Firebird is 1960, Just because I'm a child of the 60's being born in 1960, I got to see all the coolest cars to come out. And my favorite Pontiac is 1969 Judge, or Dean Jefferies Monkee Mobile GTO. man these are all bringing back the memories! Thanks for all the great shows over the years. Us gearheads really appreciate your talent dedication and hard work!

For 125 bucks I would definitely buy that radiator support because the battery's of the day loved to leak acid on the lower bolt that connects to the subframe also the rubbers just wear out over the years because of rust which every gearhead knows rust sucks . One thing I didn't know was from the cowl forward was the same from 70 to 81 but did know it was the same on firebirds and Trans am go figure. F body's but know I'm thinking about the a body from 68 to 72 haha 😄 this is getting crazy 🤪 I do know that Pontiacs from 70 to 72 were the same from the cowl back even the rear bumpers were the same with other general motors f and a bodies only difference in 68 to 69 was in 69 they had no vent windows. General motors saved a lot in tooling going all the way back to the fifties frames doors hell tri fives roofs deck lids doors two year's same dashes. I could write a whole book on matching parts 😩 OK one more then I got to stop the. V. W. Bug ha ha gotcha

Every single part has failed & I have wrenched my butt off on this little passenger car & really don't have much to show for it except a 03 focus that is still on the road! That is all that matters in the end, Getting from point A to point B & back to point A, ensuring that it makes it there & back safely! I need a rwd vehicle to modify! I am so sick of fwd & 4 cylinder junk!!!!!!!!

Also picked up a original 4spd as mine was conv to auto but couldn't get the clutch linkage like you can today so it went with the car.

Never wrecked? That nose looks to have been replaced, even if they claim it warped but my main issue is that I like the 74-81 Camaro! In fact I had a realy cool red '79 Z 28 with a 73 sbc 400 out of a 73 caprice wagon. Bored 30 over with a lot of goodies! Amber light weight pistons, they balanced the internals, polished the crank, roller rockers, milled the heads 202/160 if I remember correctly, 4 core radiator, edelbrock performer intake, holly 750 double pumper, TH400 with shift kit, manual valve body ,stall converter, B&M mega shifter, 373 gears. Headers, 2 1/2 exhaust with duel flow masters! However, cool parts, powerful engine & all! It ended up ripping the T tops that's why I sold it ,well one of the reasons! G bought subframe connectors but had already twisted it! I later got a 78 trans am. But I drove this car from 19 to about 27! Loads of great memories! It was a really fast car in its time! It's no hellcat but those small block 400's from the early 70'S can make cheap power I would love to build a turbo version but like any traditional V 8, it's life span comes down to that small cam! It's one of many reasons why you gota love the L.S ! Even still I would love to see a turbo 406 even still! I got a IQ fo at deal on this car but this '99 money $3400

It's crazy how expensive the 74-77 "big bumper" stock front bumpers have gotten. Hard to find also. One piece I wish classic industries had. I'd like to have oem sheet metal for my front end. My inner/outer fenders, bumper, and hood are all fiberglass. Quality of the fiberglass outer fenders aren't so great.

If you actually planned to do a project similar to this you could look yourself. And since listening is not your strong point he did say a couple thousand.

All you people are gonna drive up the prices for the "undesirable" years cause you all want your precious split bumper for cheap. Next thing you know kids will only be able to afford gross 3rd gen camaros to restore.

Even 1969 camaros were worthless 30 years ago , time will make cars go up in value

Could probably find a body cheaper than these parts would cost.

Purchase cost is cheaper, restoration effort is typically less, factory ac and better equipped interior.
