With the first pick, the Philadelphia 76ers selected Washington's Markelle Fultz, followed by UCLA's Lonzo Ball at 2nd by the Los Angeles Lakers and Duke's Jayson Tatum at 3rd by the Boston Celtics.
The Phoenix Suns selected Kansas' Josh Jackson with the 4th overall pick, and the Sacramento Kings selected Kentucky's De'aAron Fox to round out the top five. - Sport

Imagine if the 76ers drafted Jayson Tatum with the # 1 pick!! The Celtics traded with the 76ers to move two spots down and still got the player they wanted all along, Jayson Tatum. And 5 years later, Tatum has the Celtics in the NBA Finals.
Unreal. What a catastrophic error by the 76ers.
Even if the 76ers wanted Tatum, the Celtics had the 1st pick and would've taken Tatum anyway. The only reason why Boston traded the 1st pick was because they knew that the 76ers were gonna pick Fultz all along, and the Lakers were gonna take Ball at no.2, so they knew they would still be able to get Tatum at no3.
And that extra pick turned into Derrick White!
Tatum is a humble kid. He knows how to tie a tie, and yet he chose to wear a bow tie.

Once I see Bam take/make consistent jumpers and shoot more than 60% from the FT line then we’ll talk.

Also boucher and dozier who went undrafted. Really really nice class
