    Hi! Thanks for your great videos. I'm curious why you put the silicone down after the thinset mortar? I would have thought I should put silicone down under the edge of the metal channel when I set it, or immediately after it was set. Can you please explain?

    Is your floor perfectly level or is it slightly sloped in the shower?

    I have a 60 wide 36 deep shower I am using 4 " hex tile for the floor . For my curbless shower is an END drain or center drain better as far as water leaving the shower.
    if I do a linear then it seems like the only options are at the long side facing the exit door or the end under the shower head.
    Will 4 " hex be ok with any configuration ? Which is better?

    I would never use that for a curdles shower. That channel is just creating a place that the water can go and cause mold and mildew. The whole point in frameless glass is eliminating that channel at the bottom. If you have a good glass installer you'll never have a problem. Make sure that the glass is properly silicone all the way around the inside.
