This is just a "Foot-brake" hit, a dialed in launch control on these cars as well as a good Transmission Flash can significantly drop the 0-60
in most cars that have launch control footbrake often is quicker or very close and a tune would do a massive difference i know been looking at the JB4 and Ecutek

Was looking at an S spec TLX , ISF350 , Camry TRD , or this beauty Q50 RedSport 🤤and you might’ve just sold me on it
feel free to look at my other videos about the Q50 redsport i have a playlist depends the Lexus is very reliable but very limited because it doesn't have turbos so it's slow the redsport is the fastest but not the most reliable but for me in the winter it's such a blast to drive with AWD and it being RWD bias it's fun !
If you just want speed. Q50 is the way to go. For reliability any of the other ones will do. Also keep in mind these q50s loses a lot of value in just a few years. You can find q50RS or 3.0t just a few years old for 25k all day.
However I perfer the 3.0/3.5t mercedes E series because that's just more of my liking.

It also depends where you live at some places brands are cheaper or cost more but yeah camry and q50 redsport is very different

Any issues with the belt? I have been looking for a daily that I could have fun with, and it was between the Q50 RS and the Genesis G70 3.3tt
It depends if you buy it new id go q50rs and used the Genesis might be more reliable i bought my q50rs at 38k miles now its at 62k miles and since then i had to replace both turbos the belt tensioner and a pulley but i have a bumper to bumper warranty it cost me 0$ to fix it but
the q50rs i am sure is quicker on the quarter mile and you can make more power with the q50 with mods the awd is fun because its rwd bias it depends really what you are looking for
Q50rs oil change intervals are too long and i think it must be causing turbo failure so make sure you have a good warranty with the car also the q50 looks better and the paint colors are nice the red looks 🔥they have a new black opal edition just stunning color mine is with but its pearly af 👌

hmm yea it's bad just like flooring the car and hitting the rev limiter but lot of people do it of course if you do it non stop it's not good because the transmission fluid and diff will get hot which is bad but if you do it once in a while i don't think it will be catastrophic.

you can activate it by going in the settings / meter option and press on the first option and then you can choose what you want to have and not have in your gauge cluster and then you can add the digital speed meter and have it when you cycle thru the gauge cluster options

How do you use launch control?
I just use the good old method of braking hard and pushing the gas at the sametime very very similar to a launch control tbh in some cars it works better than using a launch control mode
It's a shame they didn't give this motor to the q70
yeah i didn't know the Q70 was a thing even haha you made me look at it online apparently it's either a V6 3.7 VQ or a V8 with 416hp which isn't bad but i bet the V8 is slower the Q70 must be heavier

The gauge is in km/h btw haha and i g9t to 60 in around 4.5 ish thats how these cars are rated

for my car just a jb4 would do the job i've seen people do 11.7 with q50 jb4 only here in Canada i'd do the 94octane map its plenty its only after doing that 11.7 if you want even lower numbers then you start to get into more mods and it gets expensive really fast
if you want to be safer you go get a tune at a shop on a dyno and street to really make it last longer i'd think

yeah you can launch by brake and gas at the sametime like i did but 3.7 aren't as quick
@@OnnSight Yeah not as quick but more fun. My 2014 3.7 feels more fun than my 19 Q50 RedSport for some reason. Now they're both fbo and tuned and both cars changed like crazy but the 3.7 still feels more peppy even tho i know my redsport will eat it up. for now until i get my turbo kit installed this May
@@demented392rt5 I'd go s/c unless you grab a transcooler or do a vr30 trans swap with fbo and boost you might start having issues depending upon torque
@@weimaraners4822 I wanted crazy top end and I'm not sure if i can acheive that with a s/c. Ill look into that because torque curve must be crazy with a supercharger. I might pick up another q50 so i can have a turbo one, twin turbo one and then a supercharged one See which one i like better

@@OnnSight plenty of manual cars that can smoke auto only cars and they make no excuses for it either. You might be right that it is faster but only to people that can't drive for shit anyways. I've seen professional japanese touge race drivers do better lap times in a manual a91 supra than an automatic one and kept talking about how great the manual is and it would be even greater with a hand break. Literally no talk about how to auto was faster cause it wasn't. Infiniti and nissan in general has done nothing but fail and cop out after making horrible decision after horrible decision.
A 6speed ATS-V would definitely smoke a redsport.
i can assure you that a ATS-V doesn't smoke a redsport it would be pretty much equal unless you get the automatic ATS-V you are stuck in the 90's my friend back when auto's were slow nowdays any car with a version of it in Manual is slower it's just facts.. just look at a Golf R with Manual and Auto the Auto will always win now is it more fun in Manual yes but that's another debate.
Infiniti didn't fail it's a ''luxury brand'' luxury means auto because it's smooth and effortless it fits the luxury segment that's why they have Nissan with the Fairlady Z in Manual to fill out that enthusiast gap more engaging sports car before saying random things get some information the Q50 redsport even if it as 400hp beats most American cars with over 400hp simply because of AWD and Auto i just leave and they spin
