Beautiful fence and color choice!!
Beautiful modern design.
Thank you! Cheers!
Looks awesome. I have the same sprayer and discovered cedar shingles under my vinyl. Definitely going with Ready Seal on the cedar with black trim.
My natural stain did leave drip marks any advice on removing. Only one heavy coat. Any advice. I should have back brushed I didn’t because I thought it was good proof
Looks great! You mentioned the brush, did you brush the fence after spraying on the stain?
Looks beautiful, how long did you wait after building the fence to apply the stain?
Two weeks.
Looks nice derrel!!where did you get the stain ready seal ?
Thanks! Home Depot sells Ready Seal.
Any idea how much is natural light oak diffeent from natural cedar?
I do not, unfortunately.
How many coats did you do and does it still look the same way? Thanks
Single heavy coat and I just had enough at 15 gallons of stain for two sides of 300 linear feat of 6 foot fence. It's about $160 per 5 gallons, the stuff is not cheap.
What was the stain color name on the bucket that’s a really nice color
Natural Cedar
Where's the link to the tip?
Does the color still look the same or did it change quite a bit?
Still the same. It has faded slightly on the side that gets full sun, as I expected it would. But otherwise it is holding up well.
I am restaining my cedar deck. I have found the natural cedar to be too red. I think the Pecan is a bit darker and will last longer.
I agree that the pecan appears to be darker, but will it last longer? Not sure about that. I know darker pigment stains typically do, but I don’t think the difference between these two are that significant.
Great job sorry if i missed it but what stain color did you use? Looks like either natural cedar or mahogany.
Natural Cedar
Thanks! We just stained some leftover boards with all the ready seal samples and also chose that. Cheers
Good choice!
So this worked in 1 coat?
Yes, it’s holding up pretty good. One side (in full sun the whole day) is starting to fade at the one year mark.
