For todays video I wanted to share my morning skincare routine with you. I suffer from very sensitive and dry skin and it took me years to figure out what worked for me! My skin has never been smoother, more hydrating and glowy!

Edit after two months: It worked! My streaming eyes, dry skin etc are all cleared up thanks to the wet skin technique. 😃

Hello Sanne, Love your skincare routine! Only one tip, if I may: the face oil and oils in general are occlusive so everything you put after them is useless because they won't be able to penetrate into the skin, so maybe it would be better to put the rich cream and then lock it in with the face oil. just a friendly tip
Also with fair skin, sunscreen is a MUST

@@asihwicaksani2441 Skin cancer is more common in people with fair skin bc they have less melanin.
All skins should wear sunscreen as prevention, but the risk is especially high when you have fair skin

This was really helpful thank you. My skin is so dry but when I put a lot of stuff on my face it just clogged my pores without hydrating it. Also I accidentally figured out the wet trick so that is a fabulous tip

I recommend a brush called the wet brush sanne, I can brush my hair when it’s wet and it goes right through I think it causes less breakage. And I go slow :)

Don't forget the SPF🙏🏽 The dark spots are likely due to sun damage. You are using a vit C, you must use a SPF, and vit c boosts the uv protection ;)!!! but if spf not used.... well the opposite effect
should we use spf in home or close area
Yes, as UVA rays (the ones responsible for skin cancer) can penetrate glass like windows at home 👍🏼
I think your right. You can easily clog your pores up. Adding your product while your skin is wet is exactly what my dermatologist told me to do after I shower with applying lotion.
Am I the only one who's freaked out by her not using SPF especially after applying vitamin C? 🥴 I have nothing against you Sanne and I love this routine (definitely going to try the face wetting tip) but SPF is really really important! 😫
I don't use much spf because I only go out on the evening. I mostly keep my desk away from the window and keep the blinds slightly closed. I use spf on face and my arms.
I just love the sun too much and I need ten minutes of sunshine to actually function through the day.
Vitamin C actually provides sun protection. Not as well as SPF, though.
Maybe she did not show it. But she uses spf regularly. See her other beauty routines.

I have no idea what to do about sunscreen. Mineral sunscreen irritates my sensitive skin and causes red patches. Physical gives a ridiculous amount of pilling, dryness and white cast.

I do this! I always use a facial steamer while I'm putting on my serums

you can try washing your face without cleaning foam!I think it is good way to protect our skin!

Hyaluronic acid serums are suppose to be used on slightly damp skin in order to hydrate your skin by allowing the hyaluronic acid to hold onto the water on your skin.
Hey loved your morning skin care. It is so helpful for people like me with dry skin. One thing I noticed in your make up that you did not use face powder or compact. Did you forget it or doesn't use it as it makes the face dry
I'm curious why do you use the 'Dermalogica' vitamin C serum instead of the one from the "Dr. Barbara Sturm" line? I'm only asking because I want to know which one is better.

Please let us know if Dr Barbara Sturm is paying you to promote her products or if you were gifted these products. As you must be aware her products are ridiculously expensive and hyaluronic acid is very cheap to formulate, and so we are just painting for the brand.

Love your routine .just one thing: you have to put first serums.then cream then oils. If you put thr cream last. It cant penetrate and hydrate properly the skin. If you put the oil last then it locks in the moisture

I always wanted to know is it okay to apply makeup directly after your skin care? Like with the face serums on? Or do we have to clean them ?

Wow, I naturally did some of these. My issue is my eyes look like they have bags under them, and have slight black bumps on my nose. The rest of my face looks pretty flawless. I dont have expensive products though sadly
I had heard that hyaluronic acid when used on people with dry skin will actually make them more dry? I have really dry skin so I've always been hesitant.
Can you share what face mist you usually use?
Is the dermalogica vit c serum able to be used on face and eye area (dark bags and spots)?
I also have dry type of skin and putting products on dry skin feels awful. I always always keep it wet for serums and creams. Without water is feels like it stays outside.
Which face mist are you using?
When i use foundation i got black heads coz my pores wide, what kind of make up should i use to avoid this problem?
I would do hyaluronic acid first, then the eye-cream, then the face oil and leave it at that. The epidermis is quite thin, it can't absorb all that many products at once. A cream is worthwhile at the end if it has spf.
