    Living in Africa in any country is not for the faint-hearted, especially when you are coming from a place where everything is well-organized, the challenge is huge and overwhelming. You have to have a certain kind of mindset to cope with the nuances. This journey is not for everyone, you cannot move to anywhere in Africa based on CZcams Videos, you have to go to the country you chose to settle based on the relationship you have established. Africa is all about relationships, if you don't know anybody there is going to be hell for you.

    • @themigratingmom
      @themigratingmom  Pƙed 14 dny +6

      Sure, but I'm speaking specifically about Ghana because this is where I live. And my experiences in other countries were not this challenging. I have also lived in: Indonesia, Thailand, Bahrain, Rwanda, Tanzania as well as Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.
      You don't necessarily have to know anyone before you come to Africa. However, knowing how to build relationships is important as well as trusting your intuition so you know which people to build with...as some people just want to use you. đŸŒ»

    I just subscribed to your channel simply because I like your vibe a lot. It seems to me you're finding Ghana a little bit (a lot 😂) challenging, but you're focusing on finding all the possibilities to make it work rather than dwell on the negative. I'm that way also, with my Nigeria and Ghana experiences. It's a lot of challenges - as well as opportunities. Let's focus there.
    I'll be watching more of you and looking forward to what we can make out of these challenges together ❀ đŸ’Ș🏿

    One thing you have to understand, most countries all over the world they won't let you acquire a piece of land if you don't have proper documents of residence, im originally from east Africa Tanzania to be exact, i live in Dallas TX, you can't buy a land here in TX if you're not a legal residency or citizen, in Tanzania you must be a citizen or married to a Tanzania, in order to acquire a piece of land and that's because they need to protect the local people you can't just allow foreigners to just come and buy all the land, then the local people would be left with nothing and be pushed away from your own country, just understand every country has different migration rules but in realistic Tanzania is a beautiful country with so much to enjoy in life. Wish you well
