Living in Africa in any country is not for the faint-hearted, especially when you are coming from a place where everything is well-organized, the challenge is huge and overwhelming. You have to have a certain kind of mindset to cope with the nuances. This journey is not for everyone, you cannot move to anywhere in Africa based on CZcams Videos, you have to go to the country you chose to settle based on the relationship you have established. Africa is all about relationships, if you don't know anybody there is going to be hell for you.
Sure, but I'm speaking specifically about Ghana because this is where I live. And my experiences in other countries were not this challenging. I have also lived in: Indonesia, Thailand, Bahrain, Rwanda, Tanzania as well as Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.
You don't necessarily have to know anyone before you come to Africa. However, knowing how to build relationships is important as well as trusting your intuition so you know which people to build with...as some people just want to use you. đ»
This comment is EVERY. THING! Oh my. You have really sparked me. Thank you for your perspective/overview.
I just subscribed. Akwaaba. Africa has over 50 countries and based on a personâs preference, one May not like one country but will love another. It is still the same big Africa. Welcome to Ghana.
Thank you!
@@Yesumo1932 I suspect you are not Ghanaian. Ghanaians do not speak like that; they are very welcoming. Pls stop đ it.
I just subscribed. I wish you all the best in your life in my motherland. I am a Ghanaian living abroad.
Tanzania and Ghana are both great countries, I love both countries

Gratitude for your transparency. I moved to Ghana 2 months ago. You are absolutely correct and exact..... the fu**kery in Ghana is not for the faint at heart. You must be truly grounded to survive and Spiritually elevated to thrive!
Yes exactly!! I hope you are enjoying your time here so far, even through the more challenging times. đ»
Cape Coast area and Kumasi are places that are moderate to live compared to Accra. Another AA has roots in Kumasi. His CZcams channel is We Belong to Accra.

Hey sis! Thank you for watching! â€ïž
Yayyyy youâre back! đ
Heyyyy!! âșïžđ€đ»
I just subscribed to your channel simply because I like your vibe a lot. It seems to me you're finding Ghana a little bit (a lot đ) challenging, but you're focusing on finding all the possibilities to make it work rather than dwell on the negative. I'm that way also, with my Nigeria and Ghana experiences. It's a lot of challenges - as well as opportunities. Let's focus there.
I'll be watching more of you and looking forward to what we can make out of these challenges together â€ïž đȘđż
Yes it can be very challenging at times! Its good to know people who understand. I left my email address for you in the other comment. â€ïžâš

Just forget them they are not of any good value to you your mental health and your family.Along as the children are doing very well we the Almighty God.
Thanks bye
You're right. Thank you đ»
Waaw i just find you, your dread locks is beautiful.
Thank you!
why did you choose to live in Accra and not in the villages
Glad to hear youâre doing great. How much for the 1 acre land?
Prices are relatively to region, in Accra or close to Accra or outskirts, rural, high demand areas, etc
I was low key scammed and charged double for my property. It is in Volta Region and it is lakefront. I paid about 5k for the one acre.
â @@themigratingmomâŠso itâs on the other side, east side of Akosombo dam, right? 5k cedis or dollars? Thank you.
Sorry, USD
May I ask if I can pay you to connect me with someone you trust to buy lakefront property?
Can you do a video on dna test ?
I haven't thought of this, it's a great idea, thank you!!
@@themigratingmom Youâre welcome âșïž
No land in Tanzania to acquire???
I address this in the video :)
Africa has cultural diversity, certain life style will not be convinient in certain countries,
Tanzania has a problem with its immigration policies.
I am Tanzanian
What kind of problems?
Peace and greetings Rukiya, itâs been a while. Congrats on the baby and the marriage. It seems like we did a swap- me leaving west Africa for east Africa and you vice versa. Anyhow, weâre all settled in Dar and I wanted to get a recommendation for a tailor/jewelry maker. You blocked me on fb- not sure why- Iâd really appreciate a connect here in TZ. Thx đđœ
Greetings! My FB is usually deactivated these days. I did a video with Marianna the tailor please look for it. Her business name is Marianna Kollection and she's located in Sinza.
â@themigratingmom gr.
eetings đ you have seen the rest, welcome to the west and the best. Home of your ancestors. Although we love all of africa, there is nothing like home.
Welcome to Tanzania
Just stumbled on your Channel by chance from one of your Shorts you looked beautiful like our beloved beautiful Rita Marley. I subscribed right away. And oh you have beautiful cultured kids. Im a Ghana đŹđ boy
Thank you so much! đâșïž
Is your husband African or African American?
Are in you married to a Ghanaian or an AA ... if I may ask??
You did not see KENYA it was by your nose đ€Ł
I know đ«đ«
It's easier for AA to get residency in West Africa in general. I think she said she's looking for that
Very political answer
One thing you have to understand, most countries all over the world they won't let you acquire a piece of land if you don't have proper documents of residence, im originally from east Africa Tanzania to be exact, i live in Dallas TX, you can't buy a land here in TX if you're not a legal residency or citizen, in Tanzania you must be a citizen or married to a Tanzania, in order to acquire a piece of land and that's because they need to protect the local people you can't just allow foreigners to just come and buy all the land, then the local people would be left with nothing and be pushed away from your own country, just understand every country has different migration rules but in realistic Tanzania is a beautiful country with so much to enjoy in life. Wish you well
Virgo Moon blessings to you and your family. I'm looking forward to the herbal medicine and spiritual videos. You are so right, it's important we make the transformations within ourselves first. đđżđȘ·đđŸđ§Ą
