    This song was written for my friend Bryan Boles, who died of cancer at age 25. Not only is Steve a master composer, he's also a good man. Ive always looked up to Steve. He's a solid role model for anyone who feels there isn't good left in the world.

      @@VigilanteMan32 Bryan was the editor for Chicago Rocker Magazine and a close friend of so many of the 80's-early 90's era hard rock musicians. When he was diagnosed with terminal cancer, the rock community stepped up big time and invited him backstage to every concert within 100 miles of Valparaiso, Indiana. We had the time of our lives until driving to see Megadeth, when Bryan said his pain was too much. We turned around and I took him home. That was the last time I saw him outside a hospital. Learned a valuable lesson back then. Nothing is trivial. Miss Bryan every day,

      @@ninjaneer1974 It's great of you to keep the memories alive! I've always loved that song and wondered who it was about! "Steadfast Heart of Gold" Now I know and really do appreciate the stories! Wouldn't normally say anything but I have a couple fantastic Rumble live music pages with over 2,000 songs on them.
