Didn't know which of your videos to put this under for sure, but if you put a drawing or cut path in rdworks, and then go to preview and run the simulation it gives you the amount of time it will take and shows on screen a simulated laser going over your vectors. But if you have more than one vector, as it jumps from say the first to the second, it stays at the same speed your have set your cut speed at, acting if there is no rapid travel, so you dont really get an accurate time of what it will take to cut. surely if you set up a bunch of cuts in a file, and set cut speed to say 10mm/sec, it will not jump from say the end of path 1 to the beginning of path 2 at only 10mm/sec, it would move more quickly. Is there a way to fix this in the program to get a more accurate "total time" to complete the job?

I have found the preview screen useful but a bit confusing also. There are fixed high speed traverses between cuts that do not display on the screen as high speed...that's the confusing bit. But, if you look at the data top right you will see there are two times One is Light Time (beam on) and the other Total Time includes all the traverses and is the real origin to origin time for the job. I have found this data to be pretty accurate.
Working with RDworks v8 it seams like it only will save in .rld
- but my brand new lasercutter wount fine de files.
If i Rename the file to .RD it can see the file, but it dosent work.
Do you know if i have to do somthing to the Lasercutter or to RDworks?

Problem 1. You don't save machine files as .rld those are drawing files that will reopen in RDWorks. You need to go to bottom right and save to Ufile. This will save as a .rd file that will ONLY run on you machine and cannot be reopened in RDWorks Take a look at czcams.com/video/p8npuHUO5sw/video.html from about 10 minutes 30 seconds

Estoy utilizando software de traducción lo que puede haber errores. El manual que recibí con la máquina es un chino de traducción Inglés . Cada palabra es una palabra Inglés correcta pero la gramática es tan mala que nada de esto tiene sentido. Es por eso que me he documentado mi viaje de descubrimiento para que sea más fácil para que otros sigan . Puede descargar una versión en pdf del manual de la página web Thunderlaser.com pero será en Inglés . Si copia y pega el texto en un traductor en línea Sospecho que seguirá siendo basura. Lo siento, no puedo dejar mucho más .¿Tiene usted un amigo dehabla Inglés que puede sentarse con usted para ver mis videos?
