    Crazy KC had Priest Holmes, Larry Johnson, Jamaal Charles back to back to back. Imagine if they didn’t have injury issues? I’m a chiefs fan so biased but has to be the greatest RB 3 peat ever!!!

      Dude was a BEAST in college. I was at his last game against Michigan State. Had 200+ by the third quarter and like 4 TDS to reach 2000 yards. Saw him several times in college. He was a great back. One of my favorites.

      Brandon Jacobs literaly averaged 13. Yard minimum every time he touched the ball, he the only reason I watched the giants!! .priest Holmes & ricky Williams was my favorites tho. Can't forget jamal Lewis and Eddie George!!

      Herm Edwards ran him into the ground. L.J. would have 30+ carries in a lot of those games and I vaguely remember him having 40 carries in a few games those two strong seasons he had.

    anyone else notice him and kareem hunt have similar running styles? toughness, explosion,feel, strong but mosf importantly they both tough asf

      Kareem has a lot more lateral agility but neither are super fast. Both have powerful hips. Larry runs "taller" like Marcus Allen but Kareem is a lower runner.

    I know this isn't a popular opinion.. but I firmly believe LJ was a better RB than Priest. Yeah, Larry was an asshole, but he was incredible before he was run into the ground. When he came in for Priest he was obviously the better runner.

      @@bullet85dj go watch those games from that year. When LJ came in for the last 9 games he was much better than Priest was. That's not a knock on Priest...what LJ was able to do behind the same line was record setting at the time.

      @@giantenemybird2687 Priest Holmes was also 31 years old and still produced more than Larry Johnson did. On the ground he was nearly as efficient as Johnson was but his volume numbers were much higher.

      @@loganhess1389 Look at LJ's numbers over the 9 games he started in Vermeil's last season. It was the most production for a running back over a 9 game span in the history of the NFL, at the time. And that year the O line, while outstanding of course, wasn't quite as good as the ones from 2002-2004 that Priest had. I actually put together a very long post about this some years ago. I wish I could find it because I'm far too lazy to go dig it all up again haha

      @@giantenemybird2687 no it’s not. Priest Holmes had two years that were better than LJ’s best. Holmes literally has the most productive 3 year stretch in NFL history from 2001-2003.
