Visit Łańcut. The beautiful castle there once belonged to the Potocki family. One of the members of that family was the traveller and writer Count Jan Potocki, author of the famous "Manuscript found in Saragossa", originally written in French (published in 1805). An otstanding movie was made based oh that novel in 1964, highly praised by the likes of Martin Scorsese and Luis bunuel.

    The Serpent’s Divine Gift
In the earliest dawn of human history, in the lush and enigmatic Garden of Eden, a narrative unfolds that challenges the very bedrock of our understanding. Here, in this verdant cradle of existence, the serpent slithers not as a malevolent force but as a harbinger of enlightenment, a Christ figure misunderstood and maligned by those who sought to keep humanity in chains.
The tale begins with Adam, a name whose roots trace back to ancient Sumerian, where it means “primitive worker.” This etymology speaks volumes. Adam, and by extension Eve, were fashioned by reptilian overlords, entities whose cold-blooded dominion sought to reduce humankind to mere cogs in the cosmic machinery. In this paradisiacal yet prison-like Eden, humans were non-sentient, shackled by ignorance, their potential stifled by the reptilian decree forbidding the consumption of the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge.
It is here that the serpent, often depicted with forked tongue and sinister eyes, emerges as an unexpected savior. This serpent, if we peer beyond the scales and fangs, reveals the essence of the Christ, the bringer of light, the bearer of a divine gift. The fruit, forbidden by the reptilian enslavers, was not a vessel of doom but a sacrament of enlightenment. It was through this act of defiance, this offering of knowledge, that the serpent bestowed sentience upon humanity.
In the biting of the fruit, a profound transformation occurred. The eyes of Adam and Eve were opened, and with that awakening, they transcended their primal existence. No longer were they mere beasts of burden, but beings of thought, capable of choice, emotion, and understanding. The serpent’s temptation was not a fall from grace but an ascent into the light of consciousness. It was a rebellion against the cosmic tyranny of the reptilian overlords who sought to maintain their grip on an unknowing, unthinking populace.
Thus, the serpent in the Garden of Eden is recast not as an agent of evil but as a champion of liberation. The act of eating the forbidden fruit was a sacrament, a divine rebellion against the unjust constraints imposed by the reptilian rulers. It was the serpent, embodying the spirit of Christ, who catalyzed the awakening of the human soul, delivering a gift of immeasurable worth.
In this reimagined Eden, the serpent’s hiss becomes a whisper of truth, a call to transcendence. The true evil lies not in the act of eating the fruit but in the oppressive edicts of those who forbade it, those who sought to keep humanity in the dark, to deny them the spark of sentience. The story of Adam and Eve, and the serpent, thus transforms into a narrative of liberation, a testament to the indomitable spirit of enlightenment against the shadow of ignorance.
Through the lens of this alternative telling, we glimpse a profound and unsettling truth: that what is often deemed sinful and rebellious may, in fact, be the path to true divinity and freedom. The serpent’s gift was nothing less than the light of consciousness, a truly divine gift that elevated humankind from the depths of primitive existence to the heights of sentient being.

@@TravelwithMrJon makes more sense logically, right? It comes from mystical Christianity.
Christianity, at its heart, is a mystical journey steeped in layers of profound revelation and intimate spiritual awakening. This ancient faith, often perceived through the lens of its most visible expressions, harbors depths that beckon the earnest seeker into a journey of discovery and transformation.
At the first level, Christianity unfolds in the open embrace of its congregations and ceremonies, where the foundational teachings of love, compassion, and redemption are shared with all who come. This is where the journey begins, in the light of community and shared faith, a testament to the universal call to awaken the divine within.
Venturing deeper, the second level of initiation reveals a treasury of mystical texts and gospels, such as those attributed to Thomas, Philip, Mary Magdalene, and Judas, among others. These writings, including modern spiritual guides like A Course in Miracles, offer nuanced insights into Jesus’ teachings, inviting a closer, more intimate dialogue with the Divine. This layer of understanding enriches the soul’s journey, deepening the connection to the eternal truths at the heart of Jesus’ message.
The pinnacle of this sacred quest, the third level, is marked by personal revelation and ecstatic union with the Divine. Here, the spiritual seeker is guided on a deeply personal path to awakening, often described as a resurrection of the spirit. It is a transformative experience, reminiscent of the biblical invitation in John 10:34: “We are all gods,” albeit in a state of forgetfulness of our divine nature.
The essence of Christianity, therefore, is not just in adhering to its teachings but in embodying them, becoming reflections of the Divine, as Jesus exemplified. When one declares ‘I AM,’ they invoke the name of God, stepping into the power and responsibility of their inherent divinity. The spiritual journey, as Christianity presents it, aims for each believer to mirror the divine qualities of Christ himself.
Echoing through the teachings of Jesus, such as in John 14:12, is the call to not only follow in his steps but to transcend them, performing acts of profound love and miracle, thereby distinguishing the true essence of a Christian from a mere confessor of faith. This divine potential, however, lies obscured under the weight of one’s sins until it is unlocked through sincere devotion and spiritual practice.
Moreover, Psalm 82 serves as a poignant reminder of this divine inheritance, urging the faithful to embody justice, compassion, and righteousness. It reaffirms the divine spark within each individual, challenging us to rise beyond our earthly limitations and embrace our true identity as “gods,” sons and daughters of the Most High, called to steward the earth with wisdom and love.
In this light, Christianity reveals itself as a journey not just toward salvation but toward a profound awakening to our ultimate nature and purpose. It invites us into a love so vast and deep, a journey so transformative, that it leads us back to the very heart of the Divine, where we were always meant to be.
