i like the out of the box thinking
❤
I love your enthousiasm and like the other comments; your disruptive, out-of-the-box thinking.
I like to question everything and increase efficiency if possible :)
you are the best
you are crazy!!! But I like that you think outside the box. I moved back to single fin in my wave boards. And I have a similar experience.
That is awesome!
Single fin is nice, but modern slalom fin is a "wave dream come true" :)
I,m 65 years old windsurfer , from Brasil, and boat constructor. In the past 70th, I put a 6.5 slalom rig in simple surf board. And it works. Guys, nothing news, under the sun... or under the waterlines😊
The disruptive windsurfer chanell 🤙🤙
Cool Video.
🎉🎉🎉бомба ідея,супер😊😊😊
Dzięki Taras :)
Hi Wojtek,
Thanks for the great content - always interesting and fun. I have an old 90L freestyle wave that's 59cm wide and comes with a 25cm wave style fin. I love the board and keep wondering what a slalom fin would feel like in it for speed over chop. Do you think it would work well and what size slalom fin should I look for?
Another thing I'm curious about is that the World Cup sailors seem to favour a waist harness and really long lines, but you always use a seat harness and shorter lines than them. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks again!
Simon. I use 29cm slalom fin on my 94 liter Starboard Code Wave board with 5.5 wave sail and I am 96kg. One important thing is to make sure that the trailing edge of the fin is 14cm or less from tha tail of your board or it will become nose sticky and slow.
For slalom I use 28 harness lines, for wave 32 harness lines and foil slalom 38. All on seat harness. I just find it more comfortable. You konw if I was ever concerned about what other World Cup sailors favour and think, I would never become a World Champion myself :)
@@wojtekbrzozowski Hi Wojtek, thanks for the advice, at 73kg I'm guessing a 27cm slalom fin would be good for me (I checked the tail to trailing edge and it's 13.8cm). Now all I need to do is find a nice second hand powerbox one to fit my very limited budget! Thanks again :)
I like it because it's controversial! 😃 I would probably need to remove some footstrap inserts if I want a different box in mine so I'd much rather try to convert a slalom fin to US Box 😉
It works only for larger wave boards for onshore conditions. Small wave boards are just to thin :)
What się of the fin are you using for wave boards? Is it not too big? The idea i think is great and really out of the box thinking I Just wonder about what size do you use on the wave boards
Hello Wojtek,
I would like to purchase some of your fins, where can I get them in Spain?
Ти демон🎉🎉🎉😂
As much as I like your video's and respect your skills, putting a slalom fin in a wave-board doesnt make sense to me.'
The Baltic sea has no waves, so why would you take out a waveboard?
If somebody wants speed and control at 20-30 knots a Freewave with thrusters would make the most sense. Or single if you favour speed over control.
A Freerace if you want more speed. If you want STILL more speed and are very skilled and fit, just take out the slalomboard.
If durability is a concern, start with a least saying goodbye to Starboard and preferably all brands that manufacture at Cobra.
For sure it works great when you (Wojtek) ride, but you could ride an upside-down coffee-table and still make it go fast and in control. Not sure this is advice to follow for the average sailor...
Thanks for your point of wiev:) I just make the best of what I have got at hand. I think all points of wiev are rellevant and true. Hava a great day :)
