- In 2018, Oregon-based scuba-diver Jared Leisek started cleaning up local rivers and posting videos of the underwater adventures to his CZcams channel, Adventures With Purpose. When the group began recovering submerged vehicles, families of missing people began to take notice. Montana resident Bob Goff had been looking for his wife, Tammy, for nearly three years when he contacted the group for help searching for her truck in the river where Tammy’s dog was found shortly after she disappeared.

When the government can't get the job done, it's up to private citizens to step in. This man is doing great work.
How would they know that they were in the water? Do yall expect them to be psychics and magically solve a problem?
@@MagieSuzuki 1:27 they used sonar imaging and found the guys truck, then gave the excuse that the currents we're too strong to send divers. But you must have missed that part. How does one guy solve more than 10 cold cases in a year, when entire police forces couldn't? It's definitely not lack of man power. But lack of motivation and a Lack of training.
Now if we could just replace worthless Biden with literally ANY random citizen, the US could start thriving again.
When the government can't get the job done, and it's a job the government should be doing, you know that rich people aren't paying a fair share of taxes, if they pay any taxes at all. Otherwise the government would have enough resources to do the jobs we tell them to do.
Yea that excuse about the current being too strong was whack sauce. It's your job to face danger. Get your ass in the water and look for those people.
that truly must've been terrifying, finding a body like that... but damnit, if these guys didn't bring peace, answers and closure to some families hearts... and yes, they're still offering closure to many. that's incredible. he's a good man
@VinAr Run thats pretty special to me 🤨
@VinAr Run youre tellin me that if somebody died its nothing special?
@VinAr Run let’s see if you’d react the same if you found your friend or family member that way
@VinAr Run Actually considering the fact the bodys were submerged in water they could have been somewhat preserved and not only that the water would have also effected their appearance. I'm not going to describe it but it wouldn't be nice to see. So basically depending on the amount of time passed, water conditions and wildlife in the area the bodys may have still been somewhat intact. Not that it matters though even seeing a human skeleton would be distressing.
@@thatanxiouspotato430 wouldn't the body be all bloated n stuff?
Thank you all for what your doing x
Great job guys.
Thank you for what you have done.
You've helped bring closure to these families 👍
To give closure to a spouse of 42 years....partner of life...is a huge blessing in so many ways. Please continue this great work to help families needing answers and closure. God bless.
My husband and i will be celebrating our 45rh anniversary in 2wks. I can't imagine the anguish this man went through. God bless these men who helped him.
@@terryclish6177 congratulations to y'all and have a happy life together until the end ☺️.
Agree
I cried for the man who lost his wife, can’t imagine losing someone so close and just not knowing what happened, I can’t express how grateful I am for what these men do❤️
yup lots of pippi in my eyes when they told him that they've found her. That agony of not knowing where she is finally gone.
i pray he finds peace

@@laura3458 yup she drove into the lake
I'm at work and cried out of no where.
Prayers for you guys.
Healing hands with every family you help.
I’m from the town where Tammy was from, it was such a big help what they did for her. It still brings me to tears
It's wonderful that they don't charge families for any of this.

Having done five years of Underwater Search and Recovery in my younger days, looking for bodies, cars, weapons, etc., I tip my hat to you guys. Tough job when the water is black, but there is a satisfaction in providing closure to loved ones.
Well done, gentlemen.
And thank you for all you have done.
Yes. Well done
