  • These kids were found alive years after they went missing. In 2022, Utah deputies made an astonishing discovery after approaching a man who was cold and down on his luck. In 2021, there were tears of joy when a family in China was reunited after over two decades. In 2023, a British boy who went missing at 11 years old in Spain was found years later safe in France. Inside Edition Digital’s Andrea Swindall has more.

    I feel like there is a reason why Emily left! Biggest indicator is that her parents didn't come forward, her cousin did. The fact that she doesn't want them to know her location speaks volumes. I hope the police aren't looking at this as a closed case. There needs to be an investigation into her life prior to running away.

    • @GummyDinosaursify
      @GummyDinosaursify Před 4 měsíci +579

      Looking into it further would require Emily to show up in court and/or give testimony, which would bring her in contact with the family she does not want to be a part of. It's entirely possible it's a case of her coming out as gay and the family essentially disowning her for it, but not telling the extended family what happened, hence the cousin.

Thus, let's not glorify, shall we? Because not giving up is one thing, but having your wife now having to worry about losing you, by getting into accidents repeatedly, is most certainly not what you'd call a good partner either.
      There is good measure for everything. Even for how to practice hope, without putting everything on the line. Also, what now? What a challenge for the found kid to know that father wrecked his health and finances. Can you imagine the emotional load that hits you?

      There's got to be a reason she doesn't want to see her family and unless they had done something nasty or harsh to her something's not adding up with her wanting her family to have no part of her life .
      I hope that somehow a detective can find where she lives and they can watch her to see if they see anything weird to corroborate what I've said .
      Or she could want to be with the family and maybe they threatened her saying you'll never see your kids again if you visit your folks .

      I had a very good friend who left home when she was 16. She hated her father and her brother, but she loved her mother. She would endure having to encounter the others just to see her, but most of the time she only agreed to meet if it was just her mum. I had one experience with being with both her parents for a short car ride. I immediately understood why she hated him. He was the coldest, most ignorant, most arrogant and controlling man I had ever met. I was only in his company for ten minutes but it was the most uncomfortable ten minutes of my life. I have never met a person who could make me loathe their character in such a short time, so I instantly understood.
      When he died my friend celebrated. She refused to attend the funeral.
      I have no doubt there was more that I was never told.
      Emily reminds me of her. For her to run away, and to not want contact, something bad has gone on in that family and she doesn't want to tell them, or they wouldn't believe her if she did. So instead of causing more pain and drama, she's getting on with her life away from all of them.

      @gardensofthegods I've searched his name online and found a picture of him only when he was a kid the picture had a link to a website of California missing people so anyways I saw his name and picture on the site showing it has been updated in 2012 mentioning he's been found. He's a grown man now. I've contacted the police of San Diego and they mentioned that they can't do nothing because he's been found and not considered missing anymore and that they don't know where he's located, and maybe he doesn't want to reach out to family.

      Maybe you could be the one because there's nothing he has against you and if you just Express the wanting to know and love him he will reach out

      @MandieKearns-Moore sorry I forgot to mention when he ran away it was 94. I was born in 95 I've never met him before but would be nice to meet him for the first time.

      So true. Since she didn't wanna see her family probably means her family was the reason she left.
