I've made this on four separate occasions and love it. It's now a new staple for weekend brunch as my boyfriend can't get enough of it. Cherry jam and cream cheese wtih golden syrup on top is our favorite, which can be a lot of sugar, so I don't add it to the egg mixture. Really amazing, thank you for this recipe!

Eggs have no flavor they can easily be sweet instead of savory
No salt and pepper.. also sausage and egg breakfast sandwiches taste way better with jelly on the English muffin or biscuit. Or try the sweet and savory mc griddles! The bread is like pancakes with syrup. Cream cheese is good with jam..and both are good with breakfast foods like bacon, eggs, sausage, and toast

This video remind me that one when you make grilled cheese with Kim chi, I wandered if that combination is going make good in french toast. I woke at 3am and saw this video, couldn’t go back to sleep, so made the first sandwich. It was very rich, filling and tasty! The only thing is flipping the egg. Mine fell into pieces but I was able to stuff it all in the bread so it worked out. Thanks for a yummy food idea! Next time I’ll watch your channel in actual daylight hours! Haha!

maybe for the sweet version, make the eggs like the Japanese tamagoyaki, with a little sugar mixed into it. and maybe use either sweetened ricotta, cottage cheese or whipped cream cheese instead of plain cream cheese.

Instead of sugar use jelly and sprinkle powdered sugar on top to make a quick monte cristo.
All of them looks amazing, I will do one with bananas or cooked apples inside, the eggs seasoned with vanilla, almond extract and orange extract and sprinkle almonds on top with maple syrup.
