Sorry for your loss free Palestine 🇵🇸
How do you expect to sleep in peace when you are occupying someone else's land?
It takes a specific typ of "human" to be able to do that...
Sorry, I don’t understand your post.
Please elaborate.
A viable question which should be asked of Israel.
@@urich20«Although Israel withdrew ground troops from the Gaza Strip in 2005, it maintains an illegal air, sea and land blockade on Gaza and maintains a so-called “access-restricted area” or buffer zone within Gaza. These have cut off more than 2 million Palestinians from other parts of the Occupied Palestinian Territories and the outside world for 10 years.» Amnesty International
@@urich20 «This violence derives from the racialised views that the coloniser has about the colonised subjects. The coloniser often inscribes the colonised subject with ideas of backwardness and a lack of empathy and rationality. The colonial subject is therefore ‘dehumanized’ by colonialism to such an extent that ‘it turns him into an animal’ (Fanon, 1963: 42). It then becomes natural for the coloniser to deploy violence in the colonial context, because the dehumanised colonial subject will not respond to anything else. For the colonial subject, freeing themselves of colonialism thorugh violence can be a cathartic experience.» Frantz Fanon

Furthermore, during a lengthy interview on Israel's Channel 12, Porat speaks of intense gunfire after Israeli forces arrived and elaborates that, although the resistance fighters were heavily armed, she never saw them shoot captives or threaten them with their guns.
She also highlights that the Israeli army announced their arrival at the settlement “with a hail of gunfire,” catching the resistance fighters and their captives by surprise.

" The first time the phrase “human animal” was recorded in history was by himmaliar, in The Posen speech to SS officers (6 October 1943) - On the 7th, it is crucial to understand that there were no direct attacks on civilians, only collateral damage. Out of the 1148 total names on haaret dataset, 473 military and 675 were civilians.

From the 161,233 accumulated civilian casualties over only 14 years of "mowing" operations.
A 162 :1 ratio means that for every 162 civillians, 1 military personnel is a casualty. The 7th had a ratio of 1.4:1, more than a hundred times lower.
The 473 are - 55 soldiers, 13 privates, 59 corporals, 200 sergeants (45 of whom were sergeant majors), 48 commanders, 32 lieutenants, 5 lieutenant colonels, 6 colonels, 37 officers, 10 inspectors, 6 intendents, and 2 Lance Corp. This was a military defeat, and they are taking it out on the rest.

Sincere thanks for your comment Andy. As a Brit of Christian Palestinian heritage this issue has been close to my heart. I firmly believe that dehumanisation is an essential pre requisite of committing a plausible genocide to make it bearable for those committing it. As demonstrated throughout Israeli society. However I do believe that those that have been indoctrinated are also victims of this conflict.
If I went in my local pub and started claiming I was the chosen one and better than other people, I wouldn't make many friends, even if I didn't commit any genocide
And yet there is "Israel" 🤦
Agreed! There are NO 'chosen ones'! Only self-chosen R-souls!
My condolences Brother Yousef I am so sorry for your loss

The Poles were under partitioning of three countries ("neighbours") and not allowed to use their language, educated people killed or reduced to nothing. This lasted 150 and we retained our culture and our language. Palestinians have the same if not greater resolve and I truly hope they will prevail and achieve viable statehood with complete self-determination and protections of international laws that protect other countries. We've seen this before.
Poland and France have similar stories.
Whats surprising and new is the support for the invading force like Germany was.
lol ay ?
@michellenorris8471 if you don't believe this analogy applicable. Perhaps Israel will be satisfied with just one nation.
Recall 1967, the 6 day war when Israel tried to take 4 countries in 1 campaign.
The level of US support then was to sacrifice the USS Liberty to the seabed with all her crew. Just so Israel could falsely blame Egypt to get the US to declare war on them and help Israeli defeat Egypt
@michellenorris8471Also if you look at Israel's own maps presented to the ICC. There are no borders for Israel. For they expand in all directions limitlessly.
And they're right! You're *NOT* human! You're all superheroes! The world has been exposed to the resilient nature of the Palestinian ppl! 🙏🏽❤️
Keep up the great work Novara Media 👍
this will be never be in main stream media.
What a terrible tragedy, to loose his sister & 7 children!!!!
Schooling and academic education = air and water to Palestinian People.
Yet, since 1920s the Western corporate media depicts Palestinians as ignorant uncivilised angry beasts.
For some reason, generations of Western white citizens believed/still believe such a myth.
Till 1947, over 1.5 million Palestinians lived in Palestinian cities, towns, and thousands of villages.
Palestine wasn’t a land without people.
Palestine had Arabic and language schools, theatres, local newspapers, radio stations, banks, factories, clothing and jewellery shops, trading companies, sea ports, Palestinian Passports, Palestinian currency, Palestinian stamps/postage. Palestine had thousands and thousands of endless green fields and acres, orchards, farmers, shepherds.
Dehumanising the Palestinians will not erase truth. It’ll make Western imperialists look worse, as too many cats are out of thousands of bags since 7th October.
As a Brit of Christian Palestinian heritage, this observable truth is painful.
Hard enough to see the video’s from the UK, but for Palestinians in the UK can’t imagine the horror!!!
💔
It hurts.
Why did they leave Gaza ? Why not stay and buid it up with the billions of dollars in aid money ?
Unbearable grief. My son is 17.
Goodbye Israel.
Thank you for these objective interviews ❤✌️
From Google: As an organized nationalist movement, Zionism is generally considered to have been founded by Theodor Herzl in 1897. Zionism is not a response to the Holocaust. It's a political ideology that gained popularity and support following WWII.
Untrue. It was conceived in the late 1800s as a response to European and Russian antisemitism that culminated in the Holocaust.
You are just the best in media today.
How i wish I had enough to donate and make you more powerful than these failed own media. Unfortunately, I am in Sierra Leone were we the youths are almost always jobless with no money
Thank you for this interview.
The point about Conservatives in the UK saying “We don’t want all these immigrants” and then doing everything to make people emigrate their own countries is a spot on point.. However, it is even more malicious. Let’s be honest, the political class of the Conservatives need slaves / cheapest labour possible to work their industries and also knock down the salaries of the normal common perhaps uneducated or poorly educated in the UK.. and therein lies the class conflict and tension. But because the UK is a very polite as well as a highly caste-ed country, there will never be a real conversation or revolution about it. It will just be a case of a polite “would you mind if..”, “yes, that shall make me feel very uncomfortable and I feel it is rather inappropriate..” and then everything just goes on as it would anyway..
So sad they do not consider us as human beings

How can you be cruel to your neighbours, you should be sharing your food and so on. Cruel people. The devil itself 😢😢😢

Thank you for the truth Novara Media!
To the question of a one-state solution, and the interviewer's seeming insistence that it can't possibly be peaceful; as an American, after the civil war, about half of the white population did not think it would be possible for freed slaves to live peaceably beside the white citizens. It's taken a long time and a lot of punitive laws and civil struggle, but we are continuing to strive towards an equal and peaceful society within our borders. I believe it will be very similar for Palestinians. They deserve to stay in their homeland. It won't be easy, but the truly worthwhile things never are easy to obtain, but worth the struggle, all the same.
They will all need Truth & Reconciliation Tribunals. Something that the USA could do with as well. Proper restorative justice that takes a long, hard look at every level of government, policing, education, health care, housing & infrastructure. And how all that relates to the rights of black people, indigenous people and other minorities, vulnerable and marginalized people.
well said, include a process of deindoctrination.@@AtheistEve
@constancetorseth6648 In the analogy you are drawing the freed people are the equivalent of the Palestinians. What people thought freed people would do, what Black South Africans would do etc is not what the interviewer, Aaron is alluding to. I'm not sure Yousef is fully appreciating what Aaron is alluding to either.
Aaron is talking about the ultra right wing settlers in Israel being akin to the American KKK but in a scenario where the KKK, and their sympathizers, were around 95% of the population! We know what KKK types did do after emancipation and it was deadly. Now, imagine if more of the American whites had been of that mindset!!! That's the reality of the problem with the one state scenario!
🇵🇸 ❤
Thank you for interviewing Yousef. So lucky to hear his story.
I am always amazed at how reasonable Palestinians are in relation to Israel tbh,I would be incandescent if people had treated me or the land of my people in such a way and my suffering had been ignored and sidelined and covered up for so many years.Such double standards and even after this man has outlined all the violations against Palestinians from day one with the collusion and cooperation of western allies people still ask "but what about Hamas!!!! unbelievable
Thank you for this thoughtful observation.
They were just Arabs that moved over the years from one area to another based on economic and other realities.
@@jasonrose6288 My grandfather was the post-master general of Haifa in 1948. I can assure you that the only reason he moved his family out of Palestine was at the point of a gun. In previous years he also moved around and established the postal system in Jordan. If you believe they were all wanderers why do so many hold the key to their family home that they were forced to leave as a precious family heirloom.

Yousef, I am so sorry for your loss. No one should have to go through something like this.
And this story is repeated so many times.
I support a Free Palestine. We need an end to this genocide. Thank you for having Yousef Alhelou on. I'm so grateful for him educating us all with his work. So sorry for him and his family. I am so devastated by what has been happening in Gaza for the last 135 days. I want it to stop.
As someone with a different perspective on Trump conservatives. I feel like trump would have supported Netanyahu and endorsed the genocide like many conservatives in Congress. I fear Palestinians will not have any favors under any Americans currently in power.
What kind of a stupid question is that
That Israelis should have their own state, why don't they find somewhere else to go create their state in the West or EUROPE.
Your humanity is not determined by the Israelis... You are Eternal God's Creation and therefore fully human as is all others that He has created.
Two wise men...
They probably all have PTSD, although the P stands for „persisting“ not „post“.
what happened to you in Germany cannot be repeated in Palestine.
On Aaron's question of how to go about the One Democratic State solution, I think the proces should be modelled on the Irish reconciliation. It's quite an effective model.
It is quite effective. However, I don't think NI/ I is like for like enough with Israel/Palestine. As badly as the Irish were treated, and as deadly as the battle was, by the time of the Peace Agreement I don't think you had the equivalency of complete dehumanisation which is what the vast majority of Israeli's seem to have bought into regarding Palestinians (I'm going by a poll that had 98% of Israeli's not wanting a ceasefire despite thousands of Palestinian children being killed). You also had two states not one.
Thank you ....2 words say it all.

I cant listen to this, its unberable. How can they continue to do this to the Palestinians!
I follow the podcast "The Fall of Civilizations" and it does seem like the actions of Israel, in the siege and sacking an enemy city, are more like ancient warfare reminding me more of the Assyrian Empire than a modern state that has pretences to call itself democratic.
Too many analogies to the 1940's as well.
I learned from one of my sheikh that the invasion and occupation started in 1933.
Yousef Alhelou, my deep respect to you. You talk with wisdom . Inspite of all the suffering, no hate ; just insight and wisdom . Allah's blessings are with you.
Loved his homeland so much he only visited once in 10 years.
It may seem a silly comment to some but right from the beginning we teach children to share their toys. Claiming rights of land which was here millenia before humans seems kind of stupid when all are humans.
If you have had your knee on somebody's chest for 75 years, imagine what you think the other person would do if you let them get up. I think 75 years might grow a sense of paranoia which doesn't help with recognising your neighbour as an equal human being with the same hopes and aspirations for their families.
I do not agree that people will not forget. Above all everybody there wants to go back to their lives and never experience this violence again on both sides.
I agree, I do no watch the the so called main steam media except Al jaz.

agreed - I still watch mainstream to compare bias.
I agree with Yousef, regarding a one state policy with the whole land of now Israel being returned back to Palestinians and the Israelis moved to Europe or better yet, to an empty territory in the USA, e.g. Alaska, Nebraska, Nevada.
The rather well-armed residents, including Native Indigenous, of those states might disagree with your proposal. They don’t even want former residents moving back from California!
The Isràêlis won’t need to leave the country. There needs to be a restorative justice process that allows careful reintegration to take place. The entire country needs to become a multicultural, multiethnic, secular democracy.
