I loved seeing this. I was just excited to see your results. I also did MyHeritage a few years ago. I'm blonde hair and blue eyes and I was 1.3% middle eastern, I was so proud to claim that.

I am the most Scandinavian to 24.9%, 12.1% Greek, 4% Central American , 3.2% Irish, Scottish and Welsh I also have East European, Baltic and Central Asian roots. Dna Tests are very exciting . 🌸

Alot of people do, because the I looks like an L, I've watched a few of these, and quite a few misread Iberian and say Liberia
On the upside they did travel back and forth from N Africa to Spain.

Your wife's DNA reflects the Roman Empire which, thanks to Julius Caesar extended from Ireland to ... dunno. But it was big. Also Viking invasions into Ireland. Thank you, Family!

She's almost two thirds English though at 60%. Although the average American has around 30% English ancestry alone.

@@9pwsscamel369 Right you are. Thank you! It was Christendom that was brought to Ireland in 432 A.D. by St Patrick. The Ancient Roman Empire was already in decline. Historians put the official date for the Empire's end at 476 A.D.
This is the DNA test that I have purchased. I am eagerly awaiting the results. If I had to guess I am mostly Italian / Greek ancestry. My paternal grandfather came from Finland, but I don't look Scandinavian or Nordic at all. I've learned that just because my maternal grandparents came from Italy doesn't necessarily mean that I am half Italian.

Love this video! I'm waiting on my results, I was born in Greece and moved to America when I was 4. As far as I know both my parents are full Greek though there is no records past their grandparents so doing the DNA test is exciting.

Angharad Keltik Native Americans are the Indigenous people british colonizers killed and that were living there before they arrived, as well as Mayans, Aztecs, Incas and so on. Someone Mexican, for example, is probably more Native American than any white person from the US. White people from America, which is the continent as a whole, comes from all over Europe and Asia.
Emily - It is likely one of your 4th great grand bio grandparents was Greek born late 1700's to early 1800's. Now have fun eating the Mediterranean food!

Before I heard your DNA Richard, I could see the Irish in you. Having sent my children to Catholic school here in England (although we are not Catholics) I saw a lot of people who were Irish or who had Irish ancestry, and it is a definite different look from the English. You fitted the bill.

Connie, I'm Brazilian and I've done this DNA test too and I got Balkan just like you, that's from my maternal grandfather who came from Austria. Maybe that's why you haven't German in you, maybe your maiden surname is Austrian too :)
i am from austria, and i you are totally correct. austrians as in everything around vienna r a mix of balkan, eastern european, and then whatever western or southern european. it is def. an austrian surname.
germans from eastern germany are also more eastern european and the r1a1 haplogroup has the highest percentage (europe) in eastern germany (lusatia). austrians are really close to germans (till 1945 the saw themselves as germans). the most eastern european marker in austria are around graz not viennarabia.

I love it when it becomes a family affair!! Now you can research cousin matches and find other relatives. I would suggest researching the ancestors to find out their history and what happened in their lives.

I'm related to some Albrights. I always thought it was a German name. Albrecht is the German way of spelling it. However, Albright is a variation of the name Albert. I met someone from Ireland who had the last name and apparently it could be Irish as well.

This is the the same DNA test that I took. My result showed Iberian, Greek and west Asian on my mother's side. On my father's side I showed Scandinavian ancestry.

some people do not understand , that some persons have a more distant ancestry than others , in the lady's case her DNA , remounts to neolithic or even more far than that
