It was painful when they were numbing me. That had to be the worst part. I too was contemplating whether it was worth it. The 2nd and 3rd day were just awful, I was in so much pain. I didn't realize i could take Advil. Once I spoke to the doctor, she told me I could, it helped so much with the pain. The Tylenol with Codine did not help at all. I also ended up with an open wound and trapped liquid that need to be drained. However, everything healed within 8 weeks, and I am loving my results. My doctors and nurses were very helpful through my healing. But it was definitely a journey. Well worth it. I look absolutely amazing. I haven't worn a two piece in over 20 years.

I had my surgery 3 weeks ago. I experienced the exact same thing. I wasn’t as alert as you were post-op bc when they flipped me over to do my lower back…I FELT IT!!! I cried like a baby….but my awesome nurses injected a lil more numbing and pain meds in my IV. It took about 30 mins for me to wake up and be alert. They make you walk before you leave. I recommend this procedure if you have a “Lucy” or a “Fanny” to get rid of for good! (Yes…I named my fupa too!) lol😂😂😂 Drink water water water water…..stay hydrated and walk walk walk!!! Be blessed!

Thanks for sharing your experience. I did watch a few videos yours and maybe one other video before deciding. I’m 12 days post op. Following my surgeon and nurse advice. Taking it slow. I’m seeing results slowly and trusting the process. 😊
Did it hurt badly?
It depends on your pain tolerance. I was given the same cocktail as all sono bello patients. I felt it wasn’t strong enough but I got through it without asking for more meds. When I got home that’s when I asked for stronger meds from my surgeon. He was very helpful in getting it taken care of right away. I only took like 2 1/2 pills out of the new prescription. The night after surgery and next day. They were strong and worked on the pain. Still have plenty left.

I had mine done on04.10.2023. The procedure wasn't bad. This week (Week 2) I'm sore but can see great progress. I'll be glad to get the stitches removed because they are uncomfortable!

Making sure that whichever surgeon I choose at MIamiLIfePlasticSurgery does the *No Drain* Tummy Tuck and if they offer pain pumps & use *Fibrin* glue to close the incision is my go to choice!

Got mine done last Friday . Let me tell you it hurts so much during the procedure that I cried . I got abex and liposuction I’m traumatized but can’t wait to see the results . Good luck if you decide to do it and make sure you got a care taker .

yeah her before is me as well. No waistline altho she probably had more than I do. My skin has always been saggy in the tummy area, even when I was a skinny 10 year old. It's like it was stuck on there.
I'm considering getting Sonobello Abex. Is there anyway I could chat with you? I have a consultation on the 27th. But I have a few questions that I cannot find an answer too. I'm assuming they administer lidocaine shots since your awake during the procedure? I won't take up much of your time, but it would be nice to hear directly from someone that had it done.
Didn't you see the little cup of pills she took in the video? I think she said that included pain medication which was probably a pretty strong dose because it showed in the video how she was starting to be affected, getting kind of "woozy" as they say. I know from experience that if pain medications are strong enough, they totally knock you out.

I want to definitely get the AbEx. With the skin removal what if I were to get pregnant? How does this procedure impact the skin elasticity? I have 5 stubborn/trouble areas.
This procedure will not effect your skin elasticity, but if you're looking to get pregnant soon then your doctor might suggest you wait. Usually, we suggest patients wait 6 months to a year so they are fully healed before doing ANYTHING with their stomachs. Why would you get pregnant after plastic surgery? That would destroy everything and you’d be tossing money down the drain

Your skin will stretch no matter what. Even if you had a procedure before, so you should be okay even if you get pregnant

I had this same procedure done eight months ago the pills are for bruising and swelling and the cream is for bruising and scarring so you want to do both congratulations on your procedure and good luck. I hope you get the results that you wanted❤️🤞

@@wannaperkins2373 I like the mini tummy tuck but it seems like The areas where they did the Lipo is coming back especially on the top of my stomach the size are good the back is good but I still got those hard lumps after eight months it shouldn’t be there I’m still numb they told me I would be numb for almost a year I wouldn’t have complete feeling back into my waist stomach hips etc. for up to a year and I’m still wearing my compression garment if I were you knowing what I know now I would start working out as soon as you can because it will come back it feels like it’s already coming back except for I had a mini tummy tuck. Good luck with yours hope you love your results! Mine was very expensive $11,000 so I’m not sure what to do but exercise I guess before it gets any bigger. Just ask a lot of questions because they really didn’t tell me a lot. Good luck God bless

I had my consult yesterday and my surgery is May 22nd. 5 to 10 days recovery time and someone has to be with you the first 24hrs.

What is the difference between abex and a regular tummy tuck and lipo suction? It seems the same
AbEX is less invasive than a tummy tuck because we don't touch your muscles, so there's less downtime. Liposuction, on the other hand, is only for fat removal and does not include excess skin removal.

No, we use lidocaine - a localized anesthetic
An epidural, really seems unnecessary. Why risk paralysis?
